You need to figure out why SeaMonkey 2.48 is not supporting any of the
available video formats for HTML5 playback. It should support them all.
My SeaMonkey does. My Fx 45.9 ESR was only supporting ONE of the five
on my default profile. I tried a new profile with very little
customization and it supports all of the formats. I spent hours trying
to figure out what the problem was on the default profile which is very
tweaked with lots of extensions and dates back to Fx 10 ESR so an old
profile that is partially corrupted probably as well as maybe something
I did long ago in about:config that is causing blocking of some of the
video formats. I finally got Fx to support 4 of the 6. Fx had a rare
crash a few days ago and it came back with some oddities. One being
that it now supports all six formats.

Try Safe Mode which will help rule out an extension as the problem. Also
try a new profile. If a new profile supports all of them then use
DuckDuckGo and do some research on each and see if you can figure out
what is wrong on your default profile and fix it. Also
Help/Troubleshooting may give a clue.

Well, I hate it when this happen, I was about to try all the things that
you mentioned above. However, I thought that I would completely exit out
of SM and then restart SM. Well, when I went back in to the link it show
that it now supports all SIX formats and the video plays just fine. I
guess I will have to wait and see. Must be PFM.

Thank you to all that replied and for the advice.

So when you go to the page. What does
your browser support?

Mine supports the HTMLVideoElement, H.264, WebM VP8, Media Source
Extensions, MSE & H.264 and MSE & WebM VP9, which is all formats.

You may need to install some codecs.

For my setup when I go to the https://youtu.be/9MkQmrK_Mnk it show that
it support all of the above formats EXCEPT H.264, WebM VP8. I suppose
this could be the problem, however I am not sure how to get it to
support those two formats.

Sorry, I forgot to test this on my Win10 laptop.

I don't know how you would get it to support those formats.

I'd use the Flash player plugin if you have it installed.

The tinderbox builds use a slightly different source set but should work too
and include Lightning:

If you try one please backup your profile. The OSX startup and mail crashes

From what I think you're saying, and I'm not totally clear...

If the new account is IMAP, all you have to do is drag-and-drop whatever
content that you want into the new account.

In our org, we occasionally have users that need to change email
addresses, and we advise this for the ones that want to move their
folders from the old mailbox to the new mailbox.

And although I haven't tried to do it, I'm not sure that it's not
possible to use that method as a way of moving mail traffic from one
client to another, without having to go the route of export/import.

In my original message, I was asking about S/MIME signed messages.

S/MIME encrypted messages is a separate matter: your message body is
never transmitted in plain text, nor is quoted-printable encoding used.

The "smime.p7m" MIME part is actually a base64-encoded binary file which
represents the encrypted message body.

Regards,
Andrey.

It uses VP9 to play. MySeaMonkey 2.48 reports that all 6 YouTube HTML5
video formats are working and available. It plays fine on SeaMonkey but
it is inferior to Flash playback. Youtube uses 720p as the highest
available HD playback. Pitiful. Flash will use 1080 or even ultra HD
(if your monitor/smart TV supports it).
