When I noticed a few files seem to have the wrong info in the email, I guessed that there was a problem with the header file which I suspected was the one ending in msf. From some other problem I had years ago I knew that if I deleted the msf file, SeaMonkey would regenerate it. You forward the message inline, but when the composition window opens, you edit the subject line to remove the [brackets] and the Fwd: and substitute Re:; you can also modify the subject further if you like. Will that get you what you want? Fly guy is correct about what I am looking for. It is for email. And I would prefer the format he indicates. I tried the suggested link but I cannot find the Tools- Options that it mentions. I like to have a sense of time passage which is why I want the date and time. Also the subject of emails chains sometimes morph as an issue is resolved. Also I think of the attached document as more of a copy of the original. As a copy, I expect to have all of the header information. And I like the look of full header better :) Beauregard T. When I reply to a message it just says Bill Wrote rather than listing the full header (to, from date, etc.) When I forward a message it lists the full header. I found the file. Its called administrator.wab. When you say username, is that the name I use to log on to the computer?
