So I click the "Exit" button presented to me and THEN it starts up again ! This makes no sense to mebut then again most of the World now doesn't make sense anymore. What is that all about ? After the visible window disappears, SeaMonkey runs in the background for a bit longer to save everything to your profile. Trying to start SeaMonkey again during that time will indicate that it's already running. Sometimes it's necessary to wait a short time for the previous session to close down. As others have mentioned, having SeaMonkey delete private data on shutdown could make that process take a bit longer. -- Mark. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

DoctorBill How do you exit SeaMonkey? Using the Close "x" in the window may leave a process running. I always use File > Quit from the Menu. I see it there too once in a while especially when I use ctrl-Q as my quit hotkeys. -- Go away already, 2020! Thank you ! Hi Bill, If it's the only SeaMonkey window open, clicking on the X should exit SeaMonkey just fine. In another thread, you mentioned clearing private data. If you have SeaMonkey set to clear private data on close, it's possible that it's still clearing that data. -- Newsgroup moderator ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

My profile is located on network drive so i guess Seamonkey was still writing when computer stop. Now i wait few seconds before shutting down and no more problem at this time. Windows 10 seams not waiting all process to be really down before proceeding. Jean-Charles Maybe you can use a shortcut calling:C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s -f -t 04 The 04 standing for a seconds wait before forcing a stop? shutdown, exe might be a a diffent location for you. Try he command in a CMD box first. Thank for the tip :) ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
