Just updated to SM 2.0 and now when I am doing work other than

this problem some years ago with SM 1.x.x and was able to change some

I can leave the computer with the desktop showing, go get a cup of
coffee and come back and SM will be on showing my normal screen of my
emails. Everything works fine, just that SM becomes active without my

choice.

Hm. I don't have a desktop, i am using Linux and it sounds like a

How many people work in your office and are practical jokers?

Beyond this, when you turn on your machine in the morning (right time
for coffee, no?), which programs are active? Did you check msconfig?
With more details about your machine configuration, might be easier to
reproduce the miracle ...

This is my home PC, no one else has access. This just started when I
installed SM 2.0 this morning. Prior to that everything was fine. When I
power on in the morning, my system comes up with my desktop and would
stay there all day long if I did nothing, now, within several minutes,
SM will launch and I come up with my mail and newsgroups.

I seem to remember someone else had the same complaint a few days/weeks
ago. I don't remember what the outcome was, but it might be worth
your time searching through this newsgroup to see if you can find it.

I waited some time to make my response because I had hoped someone

Just thought I would mention an update to my problem
It appears to be my old problem of SKSMAILD.EXE raising its
ugly head. After some very difficult time of using the old brain cells,
I remembered what the problem was. Now I have to remember what it was
that I did to correct it and get back to normal.

IF you was using a Mac I would say you have it set to open at Login.
which means as soon as you push the on button in the morning and the
computer gets started SM would open if set that way.

Does windows have something similar?

I don't leave mine on 24/7

I vaguely remember something years ago about something similar happening
and it was a setting within SM or Mozilla can't remember what it was.
