You're so right. It's m4p files that are protected.

MP4 files will work just file or you can change the extension to be a
.m4a file and it will play just fine.

Is there anything I can do using Window Eyes to let me read those unlabeled

Hi Everyone,

The Sea Battle game is coming today once I get the upgrade issues
resolved.

The Sea Battle game is the old game but the new name is Sea Battle 2015
to indicate when it was changed.

This game is the same as the other Battleship game with enhancements in
sound for children and back ground sound choices are better.
You even have a shore line sound for better comfort while playing the
game.

The children's mode has animal sounds and other random sounds which I
the future may be used as part of the game, especially when a helicopter
flies over and a ship is hit...

This version is 1.0 and has lots of room for changes and such.

Enjoy the game when it finishes review; have not uploaded yet, I am
doing just one more test for loading to insure files are changed and removed
for upgrades...

Bruce

Re: Plea for an WE Patch

2015-07-06 Thread Chris Skarstad via Talk
I can tell you guys with absolute certainty that what AI squared is
asking for is not unheard of, in fact it's the standard. I've been a
beta tester for several tech companies over the years and this is
absolutely the norm. Lets think about this for a second...when you're
in the windows environment, there are tons and tons of programs running,
and processes that run in the background, and any of them could cause
another program to crash. We know Window-eyes is crashing on a
particular system but we don't know why. That's where we the users come
in, and have to provide as much information as we can. Error reporting
can help too, but if it's a problem on a specific machine, things get to
be a bitmore complex. You can't just expect the AI squared guys to know
everything. i mean they're pretty good but not *that* good. So lets help
them make Window-eyes as good as it can possibly be.

Greetings

It is said that the measure of a person or organisation is how they
behave

when things don't go right. After all this is when people are paying
attention.

This is my shameless plea begging for a patch from AI Square or GW
Micro

to

address some of the issues WE is having. When one types Window-Eyes in
Google the first GW Micro page that comes up has the following line:

"Window-Eyes is nothing less than the most stable, secure and
customizable

screen reader available on the market today."

In my experience this is no longer the case. I realise that there are
processes and procedures companies must follow when implementing
updates

or

changes. These processes and procedures should be there to support the
business; they should not drive the business.

Yes Windows ten is around the corner. Not all of us will be jumping on

this

new OS right away. Until then anything that can reduce the number of

issues

by at least fifty percent will make using Window-Eyes a more positive
experience for those of us who continue to experience loss of
speech, WE

deciding to stop running etc.

RE: Dashboards and WE

2015-07-06 Thread Van Lant, Robin via Talk
I'll be curious if anyone knows of something different here. In a business
context, it usually means a set of graphs or metrics that are regularly updated
to show company, department team or individual progress at a glance. Our
company uses several of these; I typically find them difficult to read because
they are often visual graphs, but I haven't really studied them as they are not
pertinent to my job. Scorecard is another term we use for a similar concept.

Reading edit boxes online

2015-07-06 Thread Paulette Vickery via Talk
Hi all,

I went to the website below:

http://www.homebusinesslabs.com/members/login.php

and attempted to create an account. There is a video which I listened to
first, but you don't have to do that. I entered where it asked if I wanted
to create an account. There were 8 edit boxes, but all I heard the computer
say was, edit box. None of them had any labels. However, in the area for
people who already had an account, the edit boxes were labeled with, user
name, email address and password.

Is there anything I can do using Window Eyes to let me read those unlabeled
edit boxes? I wonder why the edit boxes for members have audio labels and
the other ones do not? Thanks for your help.

Don't know what you mean. They are asking you to let them know if a certain

Providing all information will help them narrow down the cause of the

So if the problem happens with other screen readers that is why WE

Greetings

It is said that the measure of a person or organisation is how they
behave

when things don't go right. After all this is when people are paying
attention.

This is my shameless plea begging for a patch from AI Square or GW Micro

to

address some of the issues WE is having. When one types Window-Eyes in
Google the first GW Micro page that comes up has the following line:

"Window-Eyes is nothing less than the most stable, secure and
customizable

screen reader available on the market today."

In my experience this is no longer the case. I realise that there are
processes and procedures companies must follow when implementing updates

or

changes. These processes and procedures should be there to support the
business; they should not drive the business.

Yes Windows ten is around the corner. Not all of us will be jumping on

this

new OS right away. Until then anything that can reduce the number of

issues

by at least fifty percent will make using Window-Eyes a more positive
experience for those of us who continue to experience loss of speech, WE
deciding to stop running etc.

F you are in the inbox list of messages and you want to accept an invitation,
you can hit the application key and chose accept. I do this is if I already

But that's just it, the AI squared guys aren't going to know unless we
tell them. If they tried doing it that way they'd never get anything
else done, and the patch or next update would take even longer. So
really, lets help AI squared out, guys.

Greetings

It is said that the measure of a person or organisation is how they
behave

when things don't go right. After all this is when people are paying
attention.

This is my shameless plea begging for a patch from AI Square or GW
Micro to

address some of the issues WE is having. When one types Window-Eyes in
Google the first GW Micro page that comes up has the following line:

"Window-Eyes is nothing less than the most stable, secure and
customizable

screen reader available on the market today."

In my experience this is no longer the case. I realise that there are
processes and procedures companies must follow when implementing
updates or

changes. These processes and procedures should be there to support the
business; they should not drive the business.

Yes Windows ten is around the corner. Not all of us will be jumping
on this
new OS right away. Until then anything that can reduce the number of
issues

by at least fifty percent will make using Window-Eyes a more positive
experience for those of us who continue to experience loss of speech, WE
deciding to stop running etc.

Vic

Subject: MaPler Software

Hi,

Can someone please direct me to the developer of this software. I want to
install it on a new computer, and am having a problem. I think it was on this
list that I first heard about this program.

Thanks,

Karen Poulakos
