Re: query
Hi. You'll want to be very careful when using system restore. If you've applied windows updates, especially any security-related ones, you'll essentially be taking the computer back to a time before they were installed. If I'm understanding the question correctly, and i hope someone will correct me if I'm not, it just seems to me like re-installing the program would be so much easier. Use google to find the download site for the program in question, and download the instalation file for it. Keep it in a safe place if this sort of thing happens again. Barring that, let us know what program was uninstalled, and we can steer you in the right direction as to where to get the program. Erasing a JAWS file
Hello, I have been using Jaws now since the Migration, and I have created a setting that I need to erase because I did it wrong. I am assuming this setting is in some file associated with the program the special setting was made. With my obscure description, can anyone tell me where such settings or files are stored? I would like to erase and make another attempt to get it right. Thanks for any suggestions, Grumpy Dave -- Dave___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. Re: jaws latest release
Hi Brice: You just have to look at the version number. If it is 178 point something, and you have 18 point something lower, then it is free. If you are looking to update from version 17 to version 18, then it is not, unless you have an MSA. As I understand it, they put out a free upgrad every month, then they put out a major upgrade once a year which you have to pay for if you do not have an MSA. I hope you can follow me. Re: query
Hi Anthony: Are you saying that you unstalled the program from your system, or that it just isn't in your program list?
