I forgot to also mention that if you need to call MLB Customer Service for
technical help, be sure to ask for someone who specializes in accessibility
for blind customers. This will get you more effective help with someone who

2015-05-06 Thread Jim Grimsby JR. via Talk
Hello,
I have been a subscriber of game day audio since 2009. As far as
accessibility goes, I have never had any difficulty

there was a problem last week, we're games were not being shown as links
when they turned into archives. This was only on the accessible site. I used
the standard media Center site, quite frankly, the information was shown by
window-eyes quite oddly. I reported the problem with the archives to major
league baseball and it has now been corrected, so I am back to using the
accessible site. I do think however, that the window-eyes team should have a
look at this website.

Re: Trouble with MLB.com

2015-05-06 Thread Jesse via Talk
Its funny, I thought it was just me when the links were dead once they
became archives. Either way, the accessible site or the main media
center are both quite usable with one big minus on the accessible site.
In an archive game, unlike the regular mediacenter, you can't rewind or
fastforward: if so, its a visual slider wherein with the main
mediacenter, there are links to fastforward, rewind, etc. In the
accessible site, simply pause, increase or decrease volume, that's it.

Yes I did, as soon as I detected the problem. I generally listen to most of
my games archived. I also have send feedback about the fast-forward and
rewind problems several times for several years with no results. As I said
previously, it is not a major problem for me, because I generally download
the archives, and listen to them with my favorite media player. actually for
these files,I tend to use gold wave.
a note about using replay media capture with the standard media Center site.
The replay media capture program will download from this site. However, it
takes a considerable amount of time for it to do so. You will also find
naming the files with the appropriate names a little problematic. with the
accessible site, you can simply go to the now listening section and copy the
information under that
Hope this helps.
