Re: [Talk-cz] historická centra

2017-09-15 Thread Mikoláš Štrajt
Zdar,

Viz
- http://www.oldmapsonline.org/

Případně i jiný zdroj
dat? Jde mi o velice hrubé rozdělení "centrum / periferie / venkov". Podle

On 04/09/2017 11:38, Zoe Gardner wrote:

Dear OSM talk-gb subscriber

I am a Research Fellow in the Nottingham Geospatial Institute at the
University of Nottingham, interested in participation biases in
geospatial crowdsourced projects such as OSM and other Volunteered
Geographical Information (VGI) projects. My current research project
is concerned with the way in which participation biases in OSM may
potentially affect the usability of the data that is collected and
subsequently what is available to location based service providers
which use OSM as their primary geospatial database.

The project is motivated by recent research that has found a strong
male bias in OSM participation. This has led to assertions that
various geospatial knowledge could be under represented or poorly
recorded on the map. However, the actual consequences of this bias
remain little explored or reported. By collecting information about
contributors to OSM, which can then be analyzed along with their
editing patterns, the impacts of this bias might begin to be measured
and therefore better understood. I have therefore published an online
survey designed to collect information directly from OSM editors and
I would like to invite as many of you as possible to participate. The
survey is anonymous and takes a couple of minutes to complete.

If you are an OSM contributor and are interested in or would like to
participate in the study, please click on the link below, which will
take you to the Bristol Online Survey website where you will find
more information and an opportunity to participate in the survey. As
a small incentive, at the close of the survey in a few weeks’ time,
60 respondents will be drawn at random to receive a £15 Amazon voucher.

To participate in the survey, click on the link below:

https://nottingham.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/osm-user-profiles

Please do think about participating. It is hoped that knowledge about
the way participation biases impact on crowdsourced maps will enable
new strategies to be developed to address any resulting voids in the
geospatial information provided by amateur mappers. In turn this
could strengthen the role played by platforms such as OSM in urban
planning and sustainability and raise the profile of the important
mapping work that you all do.

In the meantime, if you would like to know more about me, my research
activities or the project, please visit my University webpage (link
below) and do not hesitate to get in touch directly or via the OSM
messaging service.

Tipo
wrench=pentagonal;squared

wrench=hand   a mano
wrench=allen   chiave a brugola
wrench=pin_spanner   chiave a settore
wrench=hook_spanner   chiave manichette

Re: [Talk-ca] High resolution Air photos for New Brunswick

2017-09-15 Thread Bernie Connors
James,

I have not undertaken an overall assessment of the Esri World Imagery
basemap. However, I was responsible for the QC of the most recent, high
resolution, urban aerial photography that was collected in 2015 and 2016 in
several dozen NB communities. This photography was collected by Pictometry
for the provincial government and its primary use is for property
assessment. I have reviewed the reports for the ground control, aerial
triangulation and orthorectification. The province opted to purchase the
AccuPLUS orthophoto product from Pictometry which has a higher level of
human intervention in the selection of the images that are used to prepare
the orthophotos. This results in orthophotos with a minimum of "building
lean". When compared to the provincial GIS datasets available from GeoNB
[1] the alignment was very good. Additionally I have heard from several
municipal GIS managers and they are also very impressed with the horizontal
accuracy of the Pictometry AccuPLUS orthophotos. If I had to put a number
to the horizontal accuracy of the Pictometry orthophotos in NB I would say
it is better than 15 cm.

The province of New Brunswick participates in Esri Canada's Community
Maps Program. Through this program we contribute GIS data (orthophotos and
vectors) that are used to update the Esri World Imagery basemap and the
Esri World Topographic basemap. Many other communities across Canada also
participate in the program [2]. If these communities are contributing
their municipal orthophotos to the program it is safe to say that the Esri
World Imagery basemap is very accurate within these communities.

[Talk-cz] Tak ještě jeden dotaz k focení rozcestníků

2017-09-15 Thread majka

[Talk-ca] High resolution Air photos for New Brunswick

2017-09-15 Thread Bernie Connors
Hello all,

My apologies if this has already been mentioned on this
list. The Esri World Imagery basemap is now available as a background
image for OpenStreetMap editors. In New Brunswick the provincial
government has contributed hundreds of square kilometres of high
resolution, urban air photos to the Esri World Imagery basemap. There are
thousands of buildings and other features that require editing so they
match the newer, hi-resolution imagery in the Esri World Imagery basemap.
This area in Fredericton is a good example [1] (start an edit session and
choose the Esri World Imagery background). I posted to my blog with a few
more details [2]

http://www.lereflet.qc.ca/actualites/2016/6/22/le-projet-domiciliaire-symbiocite-est-une--menace-imminente--pou.html

Pokud si vytahnete z OSM turisticke znacky a placnete to jako overlay pres
vlastni mapu, tak to je trivialni spojeni.
Jde to kdykoliv zreprodukovat a mate to hotove behem chvilicky.
chteli byste tam dat checkbox "preferuj turisticke trasy" a pouzit i DB z OSM a
netrivialni a nejde to provest behem chvilky. Takze v takovem pripade nemuzete
ty mapove podklady michat aniz by cely
vysledek mel ODBL licenci.

Re: [Talk-GB] Open survey on participation biases in OSM

2017-09-15 Thread Andres Muniz Piniella
Thank you Zoe,
I think this is great! I am sure other openData projects would be
interested in your results. I've done the survey, literally takes 30
seconds or less, just as I like them. But you don't mention if your
results will be published under a free culture licence. I have been a
scientist during some time and I am now frustrated that some of my
publications are behind a paywall.  It would be great if your data is
shared under a compatible licence with OSM?

[OSM-talk-fr] HOT: Mise à jour de Saint-Martin (imagerie haute résolution)

2017-09-15 Thread Philippe Verdy

Re: [Talk-it] Idrante, forse, di colore blu

2017-09-15 Thread Alberto
riorganizziamo e approviamo intanto i tag condivisi.
wrench=hand   a mano
wrench=allen   chiave a brugola
wrench=pin_spanner   chiave a settore
wrench=hook_spanner   chiave manichette

Re: [Talk-it] Vandalisi in atto Trieste

2017-09-15 Thread Marco Minghini

Re: [Talk-it] Palermo - marciapiedi

2017-09-15 Thread Roberto Inzerillo

Ahoj,
díky za reakci. Ten termín "derivative database" je dost zavádějící. Jsou
to SHP soubory, které vytvořím z OSM, případně ještě upravím? Asi ano.
Rozhodně to
budeme ještě řešit.

Vladimír.

[Talk-it] Idranti, nuovi tag

2017-09-15 Thread denis_dand...@inwind.it
Resolved.
In dettaglio (in riferimento a quanto scritto precedentemente) vorrei proporre
questi valori per il tag wrench=*
- Spanner.
cristoffanini.it/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/56-CHIAVE-STORZ-B-C.jpg
- Pin spanner. Come le precedenti ma con "dente" rotondo. In antincendio sono
così: http://www.cristoffanini.it/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/56-CHIAVE-STORZ-B-
C.jpg
- Hand.
wrench=*

Pokud to ta jina data umoznuji, fajn.

Ahoj,
to není uplně špatný nápad.
