X-Chat header in mass mailings

2004-06-06 Thread Peter Meyns
Hi all,

when I use the mass mailing feature, the "X-Mail-Chat: Yes" header is
always included, no matter which chat mode I select in account
properties. Brought up on a German list by a Win2K user and confirmed
here. Anyone else?

PGP/MIME and HTML editor bug?

2004-06-06 Thread SyP
Hello The Bat! beta users and developers,

please tell me if it is a bug or not:

I use PGP 6.5.8ctk.
I start to write a new mail, with the following settings:
- Message format: HTML/text
- enable OpenPGP
- sign when completed
I put the message to outbox and sign it. Later I decide to edit it
before sending, so I reopen it; the mail opens in the plain text
editor, but it has a Message.html attachment. If I switch back to
HTML/text editing, it would have 2 Message.html attachments.
One more Message.html with every repeat of the steps above.

Is there something about PGP/MIME I'm missing or is it a bug?

Thanks,
 SyP

Yes, because I *can* read the english version and I *know* the german version

I get the german version by default, so *why* should I compare it to the
english version? Either the german information should be up to date or taken
offline.

Should a new beta be released only when every known bug has been addressed?
I'm a weekend IT wannabe but would a professional maybe know that:
a bug fix can propagate new ones? Or affect existing ones?
In my day gig, we take the approach of fixing one thing at a time, see if it works, then go on to the next.
Our job is to see if the fix is one, if we can break it in regular use.

Then I suppose the problem is confirmation about open editors are
turned on the first time you turn autosave on and then never turned
of. This is of course not right, it should be independent of autosave
and turned on from the beginning. File a bug report.

Strange message list behaviour

2004-06-06 Thread Martin Webster
Hello TBBETA,

My message lists are threaded by reference with the most recent thread
at the bottom. Lately, I've notice TB! is not refreshing the message
list correctly when threads are expanded/collapsed. This briefly results
in duplicate messages. See attached images.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

Problem with selecting and copying text in the Message Source Viewer

2004-06-06 Thread Allie Martin
Hello ,

I'm experiencing a curious problem. Bring up the source for any
message by hitting F9.

Now select *just* the message id or e-mail addresses in the source
viewer using the mouse.

I'm getting results like this:

Although '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' is the only string that's
selected, the text actually copied to the clipboard is:

  <[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I wish to copy a message id and I get:
 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I get the preceding '<' and the last character 'm' is missing.

Can anyone confirm?

I remember reading that... I think I replied as I see that with IMAP
