I have a feeling that send later is somehow can be confused with
drafts, when you can save a message in outbox to send it later.

That wouldn't be the case if there was a real DRAFTS folder ;-)

I had to look in my dictionary what 'Postponed' ment. :-)
With f.i. 'Delayed' that hadn't been nessesary.

When adding a new delay item, above the description there's only the letter 'm'.
I suppose, that will be changed in 'Description'.

Further it seems clear enough.

But please don't mix it with drafts; draft messages should kept on hold in an
own Drafts folder, without any date or time. A draft message isn't ready for
sending, one can work on it another time. Imagine, you can finish it, when
you've cleared first some question and are waiting for someone's answer or
untill you've has time to visit a library, or ... your keyboard gave up and
you
need to buy first a new keyboard. :-)

Making a delay for sending a message can have other good reasons.

1. Another typo is in Temlate macro. The p is missing.
2. What exactly is the macro for a message delay? The user interface

Here it's my opinion.

When we are creating/editing delayed profiles I think the dialog it's
perfect.

But when we are defining a custom delay for a message I think the more
button should not be applied here. I suggest you to place the text
with the real date-time of the sending without pressing any button,
because it's a good way to test the info we set on the dialog. On the
custom delay I think the template and the calendar selection doesn't
applies.

Hello Maxim,

Do you think that the new Postponed Sending dialogue is easier to
understand or even harder to understand? There were some TBBETA
subscribers that have found the old one very perplexing. We need your
 feedback.

I didn't install the two previous versions, so I can't compare. But I
have to assume that current one is easier.

Anyway, I'll make a couple of comments that perhaps might be useful.

'Postponed Sending' is correct for the dialog title but, in purity, the
term 'postponed' would apply only to the first part of the dialog. That
is, 'Send in 2 hrs', or 'Send in 10 minutes', etc. Aside of that, the
word 'postponed' may not be understood by some (i.e. Gunivortus had to
look it up in the dictionary). So, my suggestion would be to make the
title be 'Postponed/Scheduled Sending'. This way, the 'scheduled' part
of the title applies to the lower half of the dialog because you are
*scheduling* it to go on an specific date and time.

Now, for the first part. 'Hold Over' is not clear and is not correct
English. It should be either 'Hold for' or 'Send in'. That is, 'Hold for
2 hrs' or 'Send in 2 hrs'. But if you want to make it as clear as
possible to the user, I would leave the upper block as follows:

--
Hold for...
( ) Hours ( ) Minutes ( ) Seconds
... and then send.
--

The second block would be much clearer if the block title was 'Schedule
to Send on Specific Date/Time'.

And for the third one (after clicking on 'More'), to be correct the text
should read:

If a message *is* postponed now, ...

My 2c.

Hello Miguel,

Monday, April 27, 2009, 1:03:40 AM, among other things, you wrote:

I agree with the logic of all of this but suggest that Delayed instead of

I would be happy with, Send on Date/Time:

M And for the third one (after clicking on 'More'), to be correct the text
M should read:

M If a message *is* postponed now, ...
I suggest simply, The message is scheduled to be sent on 27th April 2009 at
06.15
(using the TB example date and time)

It is not clear to me just what is the need for Test against an arbitrary
date and time in the future. I also do not find the Less button title
immediately intuitive and I don't see that it is really needed at all.

I only hope this does not confuse the issue even more. :)
