Mark Read or Unread act on thread brach if collapsed
Hello all, I don't know if this was happening in previous v5 betas, or not. If a message is the first of a thread (by Reference) or subthread, and the thread or subthread is collapsed, if I mark the message as read (Ctrl+M) the whole thread (subthread) is marked as read. This does not happen if the thread (subthread) is expanded. Exactly the same occurs when marking the message as unread (Ctrl+U). In v4.2.44 both shortcuts act only on the selected message, no matter if the thread (subthread) is collapsed or expanded. Any confirmations? -- Best regards, Miguel A. Hello Roelof, I've seen the same behaviour with an earlier v5 when printing a message. (I ended up printing multiple messages) Hmmm! But do Ctrl+M and Ctrl+U work as they should for you? I noticed the problem when reading this list this morning. There were several unread messages in a thread branch and, when I marked the first one as read, then there were no more unread messages. Thanks that I had noticed there were several unread messages before, otherwise I would just missed the replies to the first message. That is the risk I see. -- Best regards, Miguel A. [SOT] Question for Gmail users
Hello all, About a couple of months ago I changed my subscription to this list from my previous email address m...@rancho-k.com to my current one in Gmail. Everything worked fine because I was just lurking and not posting. But when I started posting a few days ago, I noticed that I was not receiving from the list my own postings as was the case with previous email address. I have looked and looked in gmail's configuration and wasn't able to find any option that I can change. Actually, I can't see my own postings in gmail's Inbox or wastebasket.
