Looks good! Especially the Office 2003 theme. But the context menu in
the message pane isn't consistent with the others.
The menu bar in the message editor (MicroEd) doesn't match the menu in
the main window (Office 2003 theme)

Seems to be much better.

Another thing I noticed is in the message editor (MicroEd) the icons
seem to be mixed up.

Hi,

A couple of other (small) things I've noticed in the customise
toolbars window...

Apparently I can have a "Lover case" button, I guess its supposed to
be lower case!
Also in the same window capatalise is spelt as capatalize.

KAV 5 "supports" the bat - it scans all incoming mail. What I want,
and I suspect, everyone else is the ability to scan the message base.

Hi,

I get the following displayed when viewing an email with no message
body but with an attachment.

First noticed in version 3.60, still in 3.61 beta 2.

Is it related to the additional 1Mb in the executable size??

Yes, and no.
Yes, The Bat is safe, but if the user opens the html attachment then
they are totally unsafe and at the mercy of their web browsers security.

If TB had the option of displaying the images then it may tempt me to
come back.

Ideally I think it should be configurable so that images are not
displayed if:

a) The email is junk
b) The senders address is in the users address book and they have show
images disabled.

c) Remote (or local) image display is disabled.

So get a secure browser thats not Microsoft IE.

Only time I use IE is for WindowsUpdates.

Regardless of what web browser you are using, opening html attached to
an email (with a web browser) enables things like javascript, ActiveX,
any browser plugin to run. While they may be useful when web browsing
they certainly do not belong in an email message.

Very similar IIRC as when version 2 was released. It was certainly not
"release quality", and it still seems that theres a long way to go.
Version 3 should not be released until its ready well this was all
discussed a year ago.

I guess Ritlabs didn't listen then, so why expect them to listen now?
