[4.0.26.6] Hunspell tab still grey

2008-08-11 Thread Henk de Bruijn
Hello TBBETA,

After downloading and installing this I checked the Spelling and noticed
that under "Options" I now have three tabs:
SSCE
CSAPI
Hunspell

But the Hunspell tab is still grey.

Thanks for responding. I unchecked the maildispatcher option for all
my accounts and the "problem" does not occur anymore!

So maybe maildispatcher is causing a (memory?) conflict???

BTW I use Norton Internet Security 2005 but I have unchecked all the
options in the Bat! and have no problems with that.

GPGrelay

2005-04-13 Thread Henk de Bruijn
Hi all,

Next to the Bat! I use GnuPG 1.4.1, GPGshell 3.41 and GPGrelay v0.959
When I start the Bat! I regularly get an AV from GPGrelay.
After restarting GPGrelay there are no problems anymore
I also use maildispatcher at startup and during the further session.
The problems happen since the last 2 betaversions.

I have no idea what causes the conflict.

Can anyone confirm?

I am using Norton Internet Security, but after unchecking all the items in

Also with this version I tried to make a regular backup and a

In the former version I had a problem with having to add a password

Do I understand this correctly, that the only advantage is that you can

The Bat! makes a new file for this upgrade of a backup. The file is
called backup2.tbk
It is a pity that The Bat! continues to ask for a password, while the
file not had been password protected, so the backup stops till you
fill in/give a password.

Strange those AV's. I have had them in almost every pre beta. I tried
if deleting thebat.exe and after that copying the new thebat.exe would
help to solve this, but no. I even make new shortcuts every time I
install a new(er) version. But after the computer has been turned of
for a rather long period (night), the problem seems to have gone here
almost completely. I am reading and typing for almost an hour now and
not one AV!

One other strange thing just happened when I was looking at an attached

Today again the program asked for a password, while the file had not

I renamed my most recent backup to backup1.tbk, see if the upgrade is

Scheduled backup works!

2005-03-30 Thread Henk de Bruijn
I tried to do a scheduled upgrade of an existing backupfile. The Bat!
started but asked for a password and as far I know that file had not
been password protected. When I hit the ok-button the program
continued. At the end I noticed that my original backupfile 29th of
March 2005.tbk had not been upgraded but there there was a new file named:
29th of March 2006.tbk???

I just scheduled a single backup and that worked like a charm!

I forgot to add:
Access violation 7C901010 in module 'ntdll.dll. Read of addres 0024

But nice to know is, that the scheduled backup worked! Not completely

AV's like Solitaire in Windows

2005-03-28 Thread Henk de Bruijn
I just tried to schedule an every day backup. All went well till I
tried to close Scheduler via SmartBat.
I saw a row of AV's from the middle of my screen going towards the
bottom of the screen. It looked like if I had just finished a game of
Solitaire in Windows:

access violation at address 7C901010 in module ntdll.dll
read of address 0010 and 76207397

Till that moment I was beginning to think that this version turns out
to be pretty stable..

can't check signature

2005-03-23 Thread Henk de Bruijn
Hi,

When I verified one of my own messages which had been signed pgp/mime
I got this errormessage:

gpg: Signature made 03/23/05 12:16:08 using DSA key ID DBE6E678
gpg: WARNING: signature digest conflict in message
gpg: Can't check signature: general error

I checked my messages of the last couple of days and this has happened
several times. Before this happened I have never seen this message???

Till now 1.4.1 worked like a charm.

I have signed this message pgp/mime.

Do you mean in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT?

First I had copied all the files into the main directory. After that
the program did not start. Then I deleted the exe-file and after that
copied a new file. Made a new shortcut and now the program is working
again.

But when I try to use SmartBat or Scheduler the program freezes.

I am using GnuPG v1.4.0(a) and I also have a free form primary UID. I
managed to sign inlined with my first e-mailaddress. I also managed to
sign pgp/mime with my second e-mailaddress but encrypting with
pgp/mime did not work with any e-mailaddress :-(

Also tried this with v3.02.10

I will add a note.

I hope this will be fixed soon. I played a bit with it using
Thunderbird 1.0 with Enigmail and it looked interesting. PGP, PGP/Mime
and S/Mime worked and there has been some changes in (trust)signing.
Specially the last option I find interesting..

Hi all,

changing from a old to a new computer is one thing but if my favourite
mailprogram doesn't work then...

I am using GPGrelay next to the Bat! What happened?

Every time I started the Bat! after having been connected to the
internet, the program starts fetching my mail but directly after that
the program not only stops with this but completely shuts down.

First I thought that it might had anything to do with a firewall but
no.

Happily after I went back to 3.0.1.33 everything works again...
