Re: templates
Torsten, other that the methods you mentioned you can make folder specific templates. Click on the folder properties and you have access to templates creation again. Maybe this serves your needs somehow? Birgit Monday, October 15, 2001, 9:19:47 AM, you wrote: TS Hello! -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 On Mon, 15 Oct 2001 19:56:13 -0400, Jan Rifkinson [JR] graced us with these comments: ... Allie There's a lot you can do with folder templates without using Allie these tricky and dangerous macros. JR Plse tell me some of the useful things one can do with folder JR templates. Let me give you two examples of how I'm using folder templates. The first has to do with moderatorial duties. Some messages are sent to us for approval to prevent repetitive or unintended posts. We look and approve or delete as needed. The return message has to be forwarded to a particular address that's within the message body. I also cannot use the usual forward template that I normally use. I therefore created a folder level forward template for these messages that are filtered to a particular folder. To approve the message, I simply hit forward and send instead of having to copy and paste the address from the message body and applying a quick template. I couldn't do this with an address book template. Another example was the forward template for my spam folder that I used to use. I now use spam cop for this. I had created a template especially suited to notifying ISP's. Another examples? You run a tech support system and need to use a particular template. You cannot use address book templates since many people will be asking for support and adding them all to your address book would only clutter it. I could go on :-) Address book templates cannot be used for everything. - -- ©Allie C Martin List Moderator (and fellow end-user) PGP Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=PGPPubKey1 __ MUA: The Bat! 1.54/10 [OS: Windows 2000 Service Pack 2] __ -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6a (Win32) Comment: Sealed for Security iEYEARECAAYFAjvLhjEACgkQV8nrYCsHF+KkWwCdElCYKSDSa2dBsGrnc1XKhV+F 52EAnjNhI9OvVGgwu6Kbvw6OzkegiVlk =FiUX -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- __ Archives : http://tbtech.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
