cleaning sigs ads from forwards - RegEx migrane
I'm trying to exclude signatures and adds from bottom of messages to be forwarded The REGEX-BASED Macro collection http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/macros.html offers the following string: %quotes='%SETPATTREGEXP=(?is)((\s*)?\n?-BEGIN PGP %- SIGNED.*?\n(Hash:.*?\n)?\s*)?(.*?)(^(%- -*?\s*?--\s*\n|%- _{40,}\s*\n|%- \n-BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE.*s?\n|%- -+\s+.*roups.*~--\)|%- \n+Get your FREE download|%- \z)%REGEXPBLINDMATCH=%text%SUBPATT=4' which I've used, but replacing the first '%quotes' with '%text' because I want the text not the quotes (!?) My question for all you (very helpful) souls: How does this work? A test run hasn't filtered: _ Mit dem MSN Messenger eine Reise für 4 Personen nach Barcelona gewinnen jetzt mitmachen! http://www.sweepstakes2003.com/entry.aspx?locationid=15 from a message; nor has adding the line: \nMit dem MSN Messenger eine Reise|%- in between the last and second to last lines. Do I need to specify the text and if so how, in order to get it deleted in the forwarded message? Many Thanks from a novice... dajabo ps. are the line endings in the above string neccesary or should it carry on on one line...? _ using 1.62r Windows 2000 5 0 Service Pack 3 Current version is 1.62r | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re[2]: Weird TB! crash problem
PS Since you're running Win2K you can look at the event viewer and see just what the error may be. That should give you some more information on why it keeps crashing on you and sometime (but not PS always) it will give you a solution. I have no idea what an event log is and haven't been able to find it. Sorry. :( I'll be happy to look if you can direct me? Also, it crashes whether I use the program files shortcut (in the Start Up menu) or the desktop one. It doesn't seem to be picky about that. Re[2]: Weird TB! crash problem
Hi, Marck, MDP Do you have a TB shortcut in the Startup group? MDP Where is the shortcut you use to start TB at other times? I do, and it doesn't matter whether I use the Start Up shortcut or the desktop one. It crashes regardless. A I assume that there's a setting MDP You have TB configured to collect mail at startup in account MDP details. Nope. I found that and checked it, and it's not set for that. MDP The other shortcut you have erroneously includes a /EXIT command MDP line parameter. The collect mail at startup task kicks in before MDP the /EXIT is obeyed and stalls the requested exit with the Tasks MDP are active message you see. MDP That's all I can think of. Edit the shortcut. I have no idea how to do that, but if that were at fault, it should crash only with the desktop shortcut and it's not limited to that. Thanks for trying. Any other ideas will be gratefully accepted.
