If I wasn't using the tray icon, I'd use this, which DOES toggle twixt minimized and restored view. I just thought the tray icon made sense for something as frequently used as email, especially with the animated new message indicator. >A right-click on the Bat icon on the far right offers "minimize" plus >a host of other menu choices, including "check mail" and "exit." Had >you noticed those? Wow, I actually didn't. It's interesting that while both Restore and Minimise[sic] actions are at the top of the context menu, "Restore" is set as a default (mouse click) action, whereas "Minimise" is not. If they could simply map Minimize as the default click action when the window is open (it can obviously detect this since Minimise appears there rather than Restore), that'd do the trick. Hey, make it a selectable option in Preferences (like Trillian) and then everyone will be happy. Not a big deal as far as features go, just something that would make that tray icon really nice to use. -- zParticle Current version is 1.62r | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

As long as the Bat's living down in the system tray, is there any way to make clicking that icon toggle the window state (i.e. minimize The Bat! if its window is already open)? Re[2]: TB! & Hotmail & Yahoo mail
Hi Jurgen: JH> I get the error 'pop authenticate before sending mails'. Hmm...never saw that...are you running something else on those ports? I am running Hotmail Popper and YahooPop. However, Hotmail Popper seemed to suffer when I had both utilities running on the same ports. I had to switch the ports (pop3 and SMTP) on Hotmail Popper from 110 and 25 to 8110 and 825. I am not sure if running something like SpamPal or other service on the same ports would create a conflict. Perhaps changing the ports might help. TB Wins Again In Battle Against HTML Spam
Howdy, Thought some of you might be interested in this article: http://www.ecommercetimes.com/perl/story/31343.html A snippet: "O'Hearn says he blames the current spam crisis -- by some estimates, spam makes up 50 percent or more of all e-mail -- on the enhancement of e-mail with HTML. "In the pure protocol of e-mail, you could read your messages without fear of downloading viruses," he said. "However, vendors like Microsoft have decided to enhance that by giving you automatic HTML in your e-mail, so you can download things you don't want without knowing it." Ninety-five percent of all spam, and 99 percent of pornographic spam, is offered in HTML format, according to the SurfControl press release." I knew there was a reason I like TB!
