 Hello alien,

How do I prevent TB! from inserting an empty space line between
paragraph quotations in replies? This is what it looks like:

Try using the %QuoteEmptyLines macro just before your %Quotes one.

I've tried that and it includes a in the empty lines. It is still
including empty lines and making the quoted text appear longer.

If you can set it by macro, then why is it NOT a choice under

Probably means you do not have the required language file

I would expect that to mean setting it by macro does not work
either.

I have account.m_d files. One for each account; IIRC these are the
UIDs of the message deleted from server without downloading. I will
assume that your system is set up differently from mine - I don't know
what would add the _device into the file name.

Questions for clarification:

1.) Do you use POP or IMAP?
2.) Do you use OTFE?
3.) In which directory are these files?

ND I also have corresponding MESSAGES_device... in my Inbox directories.

I have messages.tbi and message.tbb. I think it's the same issue.

Important warning for aircraft pilots: Teeth that have been improperly
filled cause problems with altitude or rapid decompressions. The
higher pressure under the filling will cause excruciating pain and in
rare instances can cause the tooth to explode. An exploding tooth
would be distracting.

You'll get one nag screen every time you start TB, and one nag screen for
each new account you add while the program is running.

How to send a .html attachment to an outgoing eMail message

2005-08-14 Thread Eric D. Bautista
Hello the Bat! mailing list,

I am using the Bat! version 2.12.00

I am running Norton Antivirus 2005 with the Bat!.

How do you forward and attach a .html file that you receive from somebody else
via eMail to another recipient. I get a antivirus cannot scan object error
message and
the Bat! disallows me from sending the .html attachment to an outgoing
eMail message.

How do you get around this so that I can forward or send the .html
attachment to an outgoing eMail message??

2005-08-14 Thread Spike
Hello Jenny,

I have the same problem - I'd love to know how to solve it.

IIRC, it involves getting the rest of the world to STOP using MS
Outhouse / Express! It is the quote mode / editor used by default in
that garbage that is responsible for inserting white space characters
in messages and replies. TB! merely responds to what it receives.

Am I remembering this correctly? I know I have to MAJOR-LY edit
quotes from ALL OUTHOUSE generated messages before sending. Then
there is the useless WINMAIL.DAT attachment, but that is yet another
story... I have found the solution to that issue:

The fentun website appears to be down or under construction at
present, so if you need this (after reading the above link info) then
let me know and I will send you the file, or a still working link to
download fentun is:
