Either this is the last filter and all other messages are caught by
other filters, you will need to key in the ToNames of your family
members, correct?

M Of course, I have an equivalent Incoming filter using %FromName. And I
M believe this also works with %FromAddress and %ToAddress.

I use FromAdress for incoming filters from family members or friends,
because their FromName changes, depending on whether they sent from
home, office, or the web interface.

M And if you tick the appropriate box, the folder will be created if
M doesn't exist.

Which would apply for any new members of the family. This doesn't
happen very often (at least over here), so you might be scattered with
new folders when you send mails to anybody who is not covered by the
filters yet.

I've been using the BayesIt plugin for while, but these days I'm using
server side spam filtering. That's the advantage of running your own
 mail server.

You don't necessarily need your own server for that, just a good
provider. :-)

My provider has SpamAssassin running and allows me to create server-side
filters for my POP3 boxes. I've created a filter that deletes everything
with a SA score higher than 7 right on the server, the rest that is
getting thru are two or three junk mails per day and I identify them
with K9.

Yes, in the case one doesn't know how to use already existing and
advanced feature of Outbox, s/he could support a wish for a TB for
Dummies. (-:

(Those who know though, are aware when they miss to hit Alt+F2 instead
Shift+F2 to save message as a draft.)

Might be even better to issue two versions of TB: a normal one, and one
for those who do not Read (The F...unny) Manuals. g

But I guess only one version, of mixed feelings, perceptions and
qualities, will be the case, as it already, near-near to be, is.

Thus we get: two legs of Grace Jones (from the movie about a new
perfume) and one, the left one, of Deni de Vito (the latter one would be
the Draft folder, from Drowned Mona), 2 tits of Sharon Stone and one (in
the middle) of Dolly Parton, a...fterior of Whoopsy Goldberg (which goes
well with Grace's leggies though), the metallic green cucumberoidal
start button of Sir Gates (for the CK's enjoyment), the face of
Silvester Stallone (from Rambo II), hairstyle of Mrs. Simpson ...

Some time ago they called such carbohydrate conglomerates Franken...I
forgot the exact name but for the described any name would fit fine. (-:

I wish you all Happy March 11th, anyway.

TB restoring under windows

2006-03-11 Thread Sam Brown
Since upgrading to 3.71.03, when I click the systemtray icon to
restore the application, the main window is always restored UNDER all
other windows. I think there's a pattern here where it sometimes works
as expected (restoring OVER other windows), but I haven't figured it
out yet.

Is it just me, or has someone else experienced this as well?

Not that particular problem, but the TB window sometimes does indeed
behave strange, ie. it stays in front or back when I put the focus to
another application.

I haven't watched this very close because its only been a major
annoyance, and I'm not sure if its TBs problem, or the problem of the
other application(s).

Maybe someone else has made similar observations?
