Customiser?
Hi everyone, In the release notes for the new v3.80.03, Ritlabs have said there is now a customiser in The Bat! Batfolk, I have finally upgraded from v3.0.1. The principal reason is that I understand the post 3.0.1 versions will connect to MS Exchange, which is what is imposed on me at work. Need a Virtual Folder Filter
I've lost my VF Filter that looked in Header Field 'References:' to see if the particular message was in reference to something I had posted. Presently, I cannot see how to make a VF Filter for that because looking at 'Filter' from 'Properties' OF the particular filter does not produce the choice for 'Header Field'. Whereas, Looking at filters in a regular account does produce that available choice. The VF I have 'Replies-to-Me' lies in the über-Accounts, or Global, or whatever we want to call it. I want Incoming, unread traffic filtered to see if it's a thread I'm in then mirrored obviously in the VF. I previously got help on this from ya'all but recently lost it while re-loading various previous versions and then reverting back to this current Beta. Create a regular filter that sets a color group for those messages you want to appear in the VF. I created a color group directly to me for messages that contain (the domain part of) my message-ids in the in-reply-to header. In the VF I filter for that color group. Customizer lets you customize the menus and shortcuts in TB! You access it by right clicking beside the menu bar and selecting customize. On the main tab there are 3 windows. The first lists all the menu bars available, the second has all the actions available and the third has the current layout of the currently selected container. I am having all sorts of anomalies in window behaviour and wonder of there is anyone else out there with whom it is worth sharing experiences and maybe solutions. Yes, I do! *raises hand* I use TB on a WinXP PRO system with dual monitors. 1) TB insists on centering itself between both monitors when I bring it back from residing in the sys tray. Half of TB is on one monitor, the other half is on the other monitor. I have to restore down then maximize again to get it entirely on one monitor. 2) If TB is on the secondary monitor, new messages are still created on the primary monitor, and the new message window opens too high and the bit is cut off, I can't do anything with it but right click on it in the task bar and hit close. So been keeping TB on my primary monitor. 3) The Mail Ticker roams around the bottom part of my desktop on both monitors. If never did this until I got dual monitors. Hello John! On Sunday, April 30, 2006, 3:33 PM, you wrote: That's it generally. If you have specific questions please ask. Can't see it, but can you select the icon size? I can't find a place to select the size. But in View/Toolbars/Customise, when you get the window up with its 3 panels, on the far left panel under Container/Main form click on Standard. Then in the far right panel, Layout, you will see the menu icons currently on your Standard toolbar. Highlight (select) one of those and you will see some Change buttons below. Change Image will show you a choice of icons. I don't think control of the size is offered. When icon size was being discussed in a recent thread on TBBETA, it turned out that many did not still have the file batskin.xml--I found a message where you said you thought you might have lost it in a tbuser.def loss at some point. I meant to offer to send you my batskin.xml file at the time, in case you wanted to see if that would let you access control of icon size, as some of us still have, by setting the pixel values. But then I remembered that I'm using MAU's yellowish icons set, and you might not like those. Anyway, I think at present this is the only way to control icon size: by opening a batskin.xml file in Notepad or other text editor and changing the size numbers. If you'd like to try mine, I'd be happy to send it to you as a PM attachment.
