Yes but it is not very easy to use ...
It would be interesting if we could use the principle of view modes in
the dispatcher because there we can give the width in pixels of each
column and so see if the width suffice or no and adjust it
accordingly...

The problem is that msaa implementation apparently does not suffice
because reclassifying some windows to make them easily readable by
screen readers we loose the benefice of msaa .. .

Implementing view mode in dispatcher again, would be the trick ...

Yes, I can drag the width with the mouse. Do you have a
keyboard-controlled "mouse"? I've heard that some screenreaders have
this funtionality, emulating a mouse.

It should be used by now - I think that was what the revamp was all

To make the dispatcher as customisable as the folders would be a wish.
I am not aware this has been handed in yet.

It appears to be working. I've played with it some more since my
earlier post, and it now decrypts and verifies signatures just fine.
(Or at least those of the person with whom I've been testing it.)

When I try to sign or encrypt, it gives the pass phrase dialog box,
but then I get an error message saying there is no default secret key.
I've repeatedly checked the preferences to make sure the paths are
correct, but still can't get over this hurdle.

This morning, however, I checked the properties on my key once again,
and this time looked more carefully at the subkeys. The DSA subkey can
sign and certify, while the ELG-E subkey, which has a different subkey
id, can encrypt. (The default id is the DSA key number.) Neither of
them have the authenticate box checked. Is this my problem? And if so,
how do I overcome it? Should I just generate a new keypair and use
different settings?

If your GnuPG otherwise works, even if just once it was working well
(for instance you hit Ctrl+Shift+S in TB editor and it offers the
"combo" with the list of your keys), then it means that it's properly
installed, both with the added PATH and the registry entry.

If you have installed it using gpg4win installer, then it has done all
this work for you automatically in the setup process.

If WinPT, as a part of this installation, doesn't work properly, then
probably is problem with it itself. Try to use GPGShell instead
(touching not your present installation; just install GPGShell, and it
will automatically find and recognize GnuPG and its parameters).

If you are using JAWS, all functions of TB should be accessible. That
should include customisations. For some icons and stuff, you need a
script, a JAWS mailing list can help better than we can.

If you are using another screenreader, I wouldn't know. I have seen
postings here were people said they use Blindows (if I remember the
name of the software correctly).

CR> Or is it in the todo list for an upcoming version ?

If TB is not fully accessible, a bug report should be created. Some
not too long while ago, Maxim went through the list I had once created
and apparently fixed all shortcomings, so it is important to know if
there are any left.

I've done this and was able to select GnPG. I then edited the file

Tray app? I don't think you need it.

In TB's main mindow, go to the Tools menu and choose OpenPGP / Select
OpenPGP version. In the window that opens, GnuPG should be available. If
its greyed out, you must add the path to the gpg executables to the PATH
environment variable (right click on My Computer, Properties, Advanced,
Environment Variables, check the box "System Variables", it contains a
variable "path" - you must have admin rights to edit it).

Question about the Mail Dispatcher

2006-10-14 Thread Claude Renaud
Hi tbudler,

I'm curently using a popmail e-mail checker, PopTray, to take a
look to my e-mail before retrieving them.
The advantage of this solutions is that it is relatively accessible
with my screen reader, yes I'm blind...
But the problem is that I'm obliged to use this program in conjunction
with TB which is according to me not really necessary as TB has its
own e-mail checker : the E-mail dispatcher.
The problem with the e-mail dispatcher is that it is based on
a gridview which does not seem to be customizable.
In Poptray for example I can check or unchec kcolumns I don't want to
see.
I don't think it can be done on the e-mail dispatcher.
And the problem is that in poptray I can read columns completely
whereas in the e-mail dispatcher for exampleI only see few words of
e-mail subjects...
So in few words, I would like to be able to use the e-mail dispatcher
but could it be possible to customize it according to my needs : adding
or removing columns I don't want to see, increasing/decreasing columns
width ...
Or is it in the todo list for an upcoming version ?
