Thanks for the help. I had all those checked. The problem was that I did
not selected all the folders. The newer ones were not checked. After
checking those everything looks OK.

I do exactly the same and I also have a common filter that unflags them
the moment they have been replied to. The filter in my "Flagged" folder
under "properties" is set up as: 'Auto refresh', 'Use fast search' and
'Store between sessions' are all checked. Also, under 'Types', 'Flagged'
and 'Not replied' are also checked.

The common filter is under 'Replied messages' with 'Condition' 'Actions'
Mark the message as unflagged. Share it with your respective Mail folder
and, in 'Options' mark as Active.

Hope that helps.

Hello Bat-Folk!

It has been a while since seeing this brought up so, in order to get
brought up to date...

Is anyone happily using any of the desktop seach applications with TB

There a bunch listed here I am going to go look at now:

(See Appendix A – Desktop Search Products)

Thx all

Flags not always working

2007-08-15 Thread Peter Kerekes

Hello TBUDL,

I use flags on some e-mails which I have to reply, or want to keep them
  for further attention.

I have a folder [EMAIL PROTECTED] where I get copies of these e-mails. However
not all flagged mail is showing up there. I could not figure out why
  some are not showing up.

I wonder if anyone can explain this. Thanks in advance

Are you actually forwarding the mail to your wife's email address,
or just moving (or copying) them to her folder/account within TB!?

The latter will not generate a "forwarded" flag.

Hold on, I just noticed that forwarding automatically does not
generate a forwarded flag here either, only forwarding manually.

The only trick I know for this is to set your computer's date/time
to Monday before creating the emails (and remember to put it right
afterwards). Your system admin may have restrictions in place
which prevent you doing this.

This says:
If the first name in the TO address (%ToFName) exists
   then
  use it
   otherwise
if the address book handle is not blank
 then
if the address book handle is different to the address
   book first name,
   then
  use the address book handle
   otherwise
use the address book first name
otherwise (if the address book handle is blank)
use the address book first name

Re[2]: Message base error

2007-08-15 Thread Jean Goddin
Hi, Thomas...

Thanks for your help.

I found an extra file in my directory folder along side the
MESSAGES.TBB & .TBI. It was called batxyz.tmp. I renamed it to
MSG2.TBB and tried to import it. Although it tried, it ended up doing
nothing other than creating a MSG2.TBI file. The TBB was 111MB; the
TBI created in the import process was 2.5MB. However, the import
screen never went away and after about 15min I just closed The Bat.

I then tried to open the new TBB file with MS-Word, to no avail. I
then tried using WordPad and found my emails along with undisplayable
text. I'm not sure how to recover them without painstakingly cutting
and pasting.

Any other ideas?

Jean
