New messages showed twice
Good evening TBUDL, whenever i get new messages, they show up twice in the inbox. When i switch to another folder and back to inbox, one of the two shown messages dissapeared. File associations are not being saved...
Good evening TBUDL, I run TB! 3.5 on my notebook and on my desktop. Both machines have one account with administrative rights and several user accounts with restricted rights. As admin i set everything up, so that TB! is my default client and handles mailto:, .msg, .vcf, and .eml. Once set up that way, the accounts with restricted rights use those settings as well. On my notebook at least, but not on my desktop. On the latter i can do whatever i want to finalize these settings, but with no success... Any ideas, where the info is stored besides the registry? Even the registry knows TB! as the default handler for these extensions but TB! hisself seems to forget about them... -- Regards, Ralph Running The Bat! 3.5 on Windows XP 5.1.2600 SP2 smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature Current version is 3.5 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
FastMail IMAP: How to really delete messages?
Good evening TBUDL, i use FastMail IMAP and The Bat! as my default email client. Now i have one strange problem: When i delete messages from my mail client, they are moved to trash and are marked as deleted, when i log into the webinterface - but not really deleted. Allie Martin wrote on Monday, March 28, 2005 3:58:04 PM (706 Beats): Hmmm. Current TB! IMAP is such that I really can't speak with confidence about what you should be experiencing. It may very well be that the search isn't working for you since, for message body searches, TB! queries the server and the search is done on the server. The results are then sent back to TB!. This why the search dialog just sits there claiming the search was done and no matches found. You wait and then the matches suddenly appear. That's a pity, because Thunderbird and Outlook 2003 really seem to cache the mails because one can search. Do you first select what it is you wish to quote? F4 will quote only what you select.
