The "Matter" is something like "case". Lawyers use it for clasification.

That's a header needed for AbacusBat - a special TB version for
lawyers. Don't worry about it.

I've been trying NEO at work with Outlook on Exchange and it's very
good at organising your mail... but that's all it does. No filtering,
templates etc. you're back to using OL for that.

But TB! can do pretty much everything NEO does and some _and_ with
IMAP support. It's just a case of sitting down and working out the
best way to do things. For example, I have quite a lot of virtual
folders with tabs for Date, Files, Labels, and People under the folder
tree. These include hot contacts, today's mail, yesterday's messages,
this week, last week, attached documents, images, important messages,
flagged (to do), valuable (parked messages) etc. And colour groups
aren't that different to Outlook categories. In fact, I'd rather use
TB! at work.

Hopefully, future releases of TB! will come with some wizards to
optionally set-up 'standard' virtual folders during installation.
Also, a few predefined colour groups would be nice, especially for
sent mail.

Copied to TBOT (if my alternate address settings work.)

I assume you are referring to the "Original Text" pane. If so, you can
get rid of it by unselecting View/Original Text.

Yeah - now that I've got over my frustrations with TB's version rush
*and* my outside bet, Bloomba, has been killed off by Yahoo I'm back
into TB for the long haul.

Perhaps I'll go to TBOT with this one day, but I really think that
we're ready for a next-generation e-mail solution, along the lines of
Bloomba or Nelson Email Organizer. I'd be running NEO today if it
didn't sit on top of Outlook...

No there's no way to do this. I wish there were though.

The preview window had a similar restriction, but this has since
changed. Let's hope the editor is similarly enhanced some time in the
future.
