The original message, asking for a way to test if the value of a
header field was larger or smaller than X, didn't give a context for
where you wanted to perform that test. My reply signposted a way to do
it with Macros which can be used, for example, in a reply or forward
template. It transpires you were looking for a way to do it in message
filters.

Excuse me, how is this relevant to the question asked?

Have tried. I am mostly used to PCRE which is (AFAIK!) does not allow
direct comparison. One can start looping over [1-9], etc. but I am not
sure of performance implications on TheBat! as well as sheer
possibility of it.

I can't modify the tool.

I was thinking of the macros you use in message templates, etc.

Try an internet search for: regex "number greater than"

Or if the header field is a spam score, see if the tool can prefix the
subject with a string (or put the string in a custom header) and match
that string in your filter.

If you mean the value of a specific header field is greater or smaller
than "X", maybe the %IF or %IFN macro?

Checked. I found one difference in the content filter settings with
those on TBBETA config and have changed it to match.

2020-05-14 Thread Andrew Savchenko
Hello,

Is there a way to test if header field is greater or smaller than "X"?

Attaching screenshot of the current "solution" which is obviously
non-optimal and tedious to maintain if the range of values is large.
