Hello Roel,

(R == "Roel") [EMAIL PROTECTED] drafted:

R when you wish to export a single message, you can't select the
R 'desktop' folder (as in: the 'root' of the tree)

You can go down the tree to C:\Windows\Desktop, but, I agree, Clicking
on Desktop at the top of the tree should do what is expected.

R further: my previous message (as does this one) had the line:
R 'hello everybody,' on top, but when I got it back through the list,
R that line the blank line following it were gone...

Not so -- at least, over here it came through just fine:

Do you mean when using the menu item "Message/Save as"? If so, I am able
to save it to the desktop. Even if I use the right click menu "Save as", I
am still able to save the message, in whatever format I want, straight to
the Desktop, or any other Folder on my HDD.

No, then came through just fine here.

Hello Roel,

On Tuesday, January 30, 2001 16:33:01 [ +0100 GMT], you wrote the
following in regards to 'small export-messages bug something
strange...':

Roel [...] when you wish to export a single message, you can't select the
Roel 'desktop' folder [...]

I don't why you call this a bug. You can "save as" to the desktop; at
  least, I can using Win98.

because it should work :-)

JR You can "save as" to the desktop; at least, I can using Win98.

I can do that too, but if I wish to export multiple messages to the
msg-format (read: about 250) (the unix-format allows 'desktop'), I'd
have to select every message one by one...

Now that would be a complete waste of time, not?
