Hello!

As an answer for Your letter, I would like to write:

You are wrong. It just need to be moved to Cliks (AFAIR), so they can
move it to D6 straight. The question is: do they, really?
The answer is: no. That means rewiting GUI from scratch (they need it
anyway) and GUI is, I think, about 60-70% of work.

Anyway, TB! works on some WinEmus on Linux.

Best Regards
IronHand

I don't know what is you opinion in that matter, but I hope it is
almost already written (in whichever Delphi 5 or 6), not "going to
be wirtten" :-)

Anyway, there is some work to be done if the linux TB! version will be
considered. If you've got experience tell me: can all relies on Win
APIs be replaced satisfactorily by open source stuff?

Well as Version 2 is going to be written in Delphi 5 it should only be
a moderately hard task to port. I've been porting some of our Delphi 5
apps (large 400,000 line apps) to kylix. The main problem is
searching out anything that relies on Win only APIs or closed source
dlls. There is no need to write it in Delphi 6.
