The trail seems to have gone cold on this (I've just got back from holiday). Did you find a solution? I get the same template behaviour you reported. This makes 2.12 a no-no for me. TB! 2.12.00 : Default addressbook problem
Greetings TBUDLers, I have TB! set up with two Account Groups, one for me, one for my wife, with separate shortcuts to the two groups using the command-line parameter /FOCUSU=, and in both Groups' Account Properties the default addressbook is set to . Under 2.11.02 (and before), I see just my folders and just my addressbook, and my wife sees just her folders and just her addressbook, plus there are some common folders we both see. I just tried the upgrade to 2.12.00 and can't get this behaviour. The folder view works as before, but if I open my addressbook in my Group, it shows up also in my wife's group, and vice versa. Switched back to 2.11.2 and everything works as before. Can anyone reproduce this and tell me whether 1. It's a new feature (unwelcome here!) 2. Something's broken 3. I need to do something different. default addressbook ??
Hi, i would expect that when i specify a 'default address book' for an account and start typing a name in the 'To:' field, matching addresses are taken from the 'default address book' and not from the main address book ... or from the history of previously used addresses ?? is there a setting somewhere for this preference ? -- Rob Using The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 ~ Current version is 2.00 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Open a new message, then on the To: line go to the drop down list, but don't touch any keys once the list appears. Now take your down arrow and hit it once. That should cause the first entry in the List to be highlighted. You can now use the arrow and delete keys to edit at will. :o) -- Nick Andriash Courtenay, B.C. While talking about the address book, could someone please tell me how to delete the address list history when creating new emails. I have some addresses there that were missteps/typos and they are being auto-picked up rather than the correct address in the address book (now successfully imported).
