My roomlord, has not come out of his room for several days, and I would be tempted to call 911, but this seems to be his thing, especially on weekends. It is very likely, that I am the roommate from H***, but he has not indicated that. I have 90 % of my stuff here now. I built a bunk bed out of heavy-duty steel storage racks, and now have a comfy bed, and plenty of room to store tote boxes full of the junk that I like to hoard ( LED lights, camping gear, books, winter clothes, etc. ).I hope to set-up my bookcase tomorrow, and maybe next week start putting some of my caving books in it.In summary, I am gambling that I may be here a few months or longer. [Texascavers] Caving Video of the Week
This week"s grand prize winner is once again, none other than Derek Bristol ( a.k.a. - The Speleoguru of Caving Videos ) https://youtu.be/lhL3Oe-I20M I have no idea why the narrative features a politician blaburring in the background, so turn the volume way way down or off. ___ Texascavers mailing list | http://texascavers.com Texascavers@texascavers.com | Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/texascavers@texascavers.com/ http://lists.texascavers.com/listinfo/texascavers

[Texascavers] Caving Video of the Week
This is a good video, maybe one of the best this year so far. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_7gjhvss-c I do not see where the manufacturer of the cordless-drill, sponsored this expedition in any way shape or form, but it is on their YouTube Channel. http://ariocavesproject.com/ ___ Texascavers mailing list | http://texascavers.com Texascavers@texascavers.com | Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/texascavers@texascavers.com/ http://lists.texascavers.com/listinfo/texascavers
[Texascavers] Caving Video of the Week
Here is this week's Caving Video of the Week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IvauNQge64 except for the echo of the sound in the cave, the presentation is very professional. I am only giving it 4 stars out of 5 though, because it did not provide a map or link to a map. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-MVF0psP8Rqs/TtuVQdCmJtI/Aa4/Pq8MTKH3BUE/s1600/Crackpot+cave+survey.bmp D.L. I have finally finished the work that I needed to finish at my job in order to go to the TSA Spring Convention, but still waiting to get paid on some of that.I should have a new laptop in the next month or so, if I don't waste the money on a new phone or some other misadventure.I think I have been working 7 days a week for several weeks. I have lost track. It is mostly 2 steps forward and 3 steps backward. Had it been a real job, I would have told my boss to go jump in the lake today. My dilemma is that I rented an apartment way above my means back in September, in hopes of finding a good roommate, and of course, that plan was an epic failure. So I am killing myself at work, just to pay for an apartment. ___ Texascavers mailing list | http://texascavers.com Texascavers@texascavers.com | Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/texascavers@texascavers.com/ http://lists.texascavers.com/listinfo/texascavers
[Texascavers] Caving Video of the Week
I was not able to find any new videos that stood out enough to earn the coveted title of CaveTex Caving Video of the Week. Here is one from 6 weeks ago.( I would advise to turn down the annoying music, but then you would miss the beautiful sound of the underground stream. ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6nnU-ejzgM Available in 1080p, although, I could not tell the difference. Ignore the misspelling in the title of the video. That was just a typo and I am sure they will fix it. I only give it a 4 out of 10., but it is worth skimming through if you are bored. ( My girlfriend just dumped me by text again ) Things at work are not going well, so I am going to have to go on another hiatus. Cheers, David Locklear P.S. Not sure if I will make it to Spring Convention or NSS Convention. My new apartment rent is killing me, and Craigslist kicked me off their roommate board ( for allegedly not wanting miscreants to freeload off of me and bring all their parole / m*th-lab drama to my apartment. ) ___ Texascavers mailing list | http://texascavers.com Texascavers@texascavers.com | Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/texascavers@texascavers.com/ http://lists.texascavers.com/listinfo/texascavers
