Re: [Texascavers] "No Place On Earth" airing
Roger, thanks for the notice. I and several other cavers saw the film last year on the one night/one theater it showed in Austin. I also ordered the DVD and book. The film is a well-done documentary with very realistic re-enactments and interviews with the survivors. A "gripping" and memorable story of the human will to survive under seemingly impossible conditions and length of time. I got the movie when it first came out on DVD (August 2013) from Netflix and I thought it was great. It guess should be readily available on the open/used market by now. The film IS quite good and moving. We highly recommend seeing it, whether you sit next to Mixon or not. It is also available from NetFlix for home viewing DirtDoc
Re: [Texascavers] "No Place On Earth" airing
If memory serves me correctly, former Texas caver Phillip Rykwalder (I may have butchered the last name) helped film the show. Suppose to be quite good.
