Thanks for the explanation. I don't know the % PayPal takes, but it makes sense it would not be low. After all these years, I always thought there was a connection to TSA for TCR - like a fundraiser or something. Didn't realize it was a stand alone event. When shopping, I always choose the debit option on my card to save the merchant the cc fees. You get a $5 discount at Spec's for that :) I was just trying to find a way to make it easier on everyone if pre-reg was an option. Now I know why it isn't. Just plan to bring a lot of cash, 'cause you know you'll find lots of cool items to buy from the vendors, too, and they all appreciate not having to pay fees to the credit card companies. Thanks for the explanation. I don't know the % PayPal takes, but it makes sense it would not be low. After all these years, I always thought there was a connection to TSA for TCR - like a fundraiser or something. Didn't realize it was a stand alone event. When shopping, I always choose the debit option on my card to save the merchant the cc fees. You get a $5 discount at Spec's for that :) I was just trying to find a way to make it easier on everyone if pre-reg was an option. Now I know why it isn't.
