Don't have time to crank out some code for it right now, maybe coming
weekend or so (if no one else is replying in the meantime).

How to make weeks start on Monday?

2009-07-01 Thread Erlend Leganger
When using the calendar to select a tickler date, the calendar tool comes up
with Sunday listed as the first day of the week. For Norwegians, this is
strange, we are used to see Monday as the first day of the week, ie in the
leftmost column in a monthly calendar view. How can you modify this in mGTD?
It is probably a tw setting and I have looked for it, but couldn't find it.

Thank you for your reply
I think I didn't describe the problem in an understandable way.

I had installed the IconMacro but what I don't know is what I have to

I made a test page here http://gf.test.tiddlyspot.com/index.html
where you can see that instead of the icons there are only blank

[tw] Re: Recent updates plugin

2009-07-01 Thread Eric Shulman

About two days ago I saw a plugin which displays recent updates since
you last visited the site. Now I can't find it.

 http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#RecentChangesPlugin
provides a drop-list of tiddlers that have changed within the past N
days. Usage: recentChanges #ofdays

 http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#VisitorCounter
is an inline script [1] that provides a *private* cookie-based visit
counter that tracks both the number of visits and the date/time of
your last visit. To trigger the script at startup, embed the
following in your MainMenu (or any other tiddler that is displayed by
default):
 @@display:none;tiddler VisitorCounter@@
When the script is invoked, it sets internal variables:
 config.options.txtFirstVisit
 config.options.txtLastVisit

... and, you can use these variables to calculate the #ofdays for the
recentChanges macro this way:
recentChanges

[tw] Re: QuickEditPackage

2009-07-01 Thread Eric Shulman

QuickEditPackage tiddler but I get nothing.
Is there any common thingy people miss when trying to install it?
I use MPTW but with standard theme.

The package instructions describe how to add the toolbar definition to
the standard TW EditTemplate. However,
MPTW makes extensive use of custom tiddlers to define it's own
themes. Although you state you are using the 'standard theme', I
suspect that is not really the case, and that the EditTemplate
definition you are actually using is coming from a non-standard MPTW
theme definition. One way to confirm this would be to make other (non-
QuickEdit) changes in your EditTemplate and see if they appear.
Try adding something like this:
 divTHIS IS A TEST/div
If THIS IS A TEST appears when you edit a tiddler, then you know
you've changed the right place.

To make the QuickEditToolbar *always* appear when editing tiddlers
(i.e., ignore the value of config.options.chkShowQuickEdit), add the
following to the template:
 div macro='tiddler QuickEditToolbar with: show'/div

enjoy,

[tw] Two column code has stopped working

2009-07-01 Thread Eric Weir

I got the following code for formatting tiddler content in two columns
from Wolfgang. I had used it only in an MPTW TiddlyWiki until
recently. I just noticed that it's not working in some plainer
TiddlyWikis [Blackicity theme] that I'm now using. Instead of going
over into the second column, the text for the second column appears
below that for the first indented about three characters.

Any thoughts about why? It's still working fine in the MPTW.

Put the following into the StyleSheet:

/* custom styles for parallel columns. Classes cola and colb */
.cola {width:45%; float:left; margin-left:0.5em;}
.colb {width:45%; float:left; margin-left:1.5em;}
.clear{clear:both;}

After that use the following syntax to generate two coluumns in a
tiddler:

{{cola{Contact information:}}}{{colb{Additional notes ...}}}{{clear
{}}}

or

{{cola{text of
column a}}}{{colb{Text of
column b}}}
{{clear{
}}}

I realize this is not much to go on. It's all I know to give.

Thanks,

[tw] Re: Two column code has stopped working

2009-07-01 Thread wolfgang

Hi Eric,

just tested it here, by switching to Blackcity theme:

http://change.tiddlyspot.com/

which uses this method to display two columns - originally pointed out
by Saq - in its main Theme tiddler (transcluded). And here it
works. So either I changed Blackycity theme to accommodate this - but
that's too long ago to remember what this could have been - or your
failure might have to do with an other style definition, or one part
is too wide and therefore gets pushed below.

You may try by commenting out the width of one part, like this:

.cola {width:45%; float:left; margin-left:0.5em;}
.colb {/*width:45%; */float:left; margin-left:1.5em;}
.clear{clear:both;}

[tw] Re: HoverMenuPlugin where are the icons?

2009-07-01 Thread Tobias Beer

This is not about DeprecatedFunctionsPlugin. The answer is quite
simple: You do not have the images uploaded to the folder where your
tiddlywiki is stored. Therefore, download all images from lewcid, save
them in the folder of your tiddlywiki or even upload them to a
location of your choice, if you're working online (e.g. on tiddlyspot)
most of the time.

As for me, I find it more useful to use the macro renameButton of the
iconMacro. Those tiny icons are hardly more visual than single
C...apital letters.

Unfortunately AttachFilePluginFormatters are not yet working with the
IconMacro, though that shouldn't be too hard to achieve. This would
allow you to attach those images directly to your singlefile
tiddlywiki and load them into your HoverMenu.
