MonkeyGTD on Symbian (S60 Nokia N97) - saving changes not working
MonkeyGTD works fine with my N97, apart from a bit of a lag and some formatting issues (that can be handled by using a different theme). However, there are two things: 1. There is an ugly red bar with warning message - how to get rid of this? http://i50.tinypic.com/1zmntab.jpg 2. This is a biggy. I can't save changes: http://i50.tinypic.com/2ekubdd.jpg How do I configure browser to enable saving? (Opera on S60 has the same issue). Is this because of the colons in the pathname? If so, how to get around this? i.e. ///file:/E:/monkeygtd.html If this can be fixed mGTD would be a perfect thing for me. When I have access to a computer, I'd hook up my Nokia and do all the work by editing the html on the phone - but I can also use it directly on the phone which is perfect. [tw] Re: TiddlyWiki and Dreamweaver
No you cant format a tiddlywiki in dreamweaver. An HTML editor expects an HTML markup on which it can work. Although a tiddlywiki is an HTML document there is no html markup lying there inside the body/body tags which is ready to be read and rendered by the browser. The actual page layout and its style information is read by the javascript code by reading system tiddlers like PageTemplate and others embedded within the belly of a TW document when it loads up in a browser which can run javascript. This info is then used to generate the html markup dynamically, meaning it is created right there and then. [tw] Re: Printing truncates when Using MonkeyGTD tiddlywiki
I haven't messed with MonkeyGTD in a while. . . but I think I remember the StyleSheet containing the media print and being part of the respective themes, you might find your solution digging through the themes and looking for @media print (following would be css rules for printing) If I get a little time tonight I will head over to the mGTD site and take a better look. Wish I would have remembered that yesterday . . . Good Luck, Mike On Jan 3, 3:16 pm, Rod rlfa...@yahoo.com wrote: Hi! I found a workaround, but it does not work exqactly as I desire. The workaround uses three columns, and they do print to succeeding pages when printing. This is am improvement over the truncation issue. The workaround fix was found here: http://twhelp.tiddlyspot.com/, then click the Formatting Tiddlers link, then click the TowColumns tab on the resulting page. That page tells you to modify the Stylesheet tiddler as shown below: - .twocolumns { display:block; -moz-column-count:2; -moz-column-gap:1em; -moz-column- width:50%;} - Then, surround your code / text on the tiddler to be displayed, as shown below: {{twocolumns{ here is much text in two columns}}} I substituted the MonkeyGTD code for the to-do tiddlers into the above and it worked. In MonkeyGTD, my tiddler contains code to display the to-do items grouped by category (Upcoming Ticklers, Next Actions, Waiting For Actions, Future Actions, etc.). The side affect that I do not like is that the todo items run together. In the default multi-column views of MonkeyGTD, using the Cols mechanism for creating columns, I can choose to display each category on separate columns. I prefer the latter as I can keep Upcoming Ticklers and Future Actions in the left column, Waiting For items in the center etc. a bit easier to use. So I found the 50% solution, and it will work, but I really would like to get the original MGTD tiddlers to print on mulitiple pages. Thanks! [tw] Re: script / transclusion to remove TagglyTaggingPlugin QuickOpenTagPlugin for a tiddler display
Hi Mike It seems to be doing the desired job, not sure if I have committed any JS felonies though. . . Any thoughts? If you hide the toolbar and tagging capabilities, don't you loose all chances of editing the tiddler - or even reverting the state? The transclusion isn't a systemConfig - so you can't even systemConfigDisable the effect?? I wonder if using a checkboxtoggletag (http://www.tiddlytools.com/ #CheckboxToggleTag) and a hidewhen or showwhen macro (same plugin) isn't a more secure way of hiding toolbars? regards Måns Mårtensson -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. Hi Dave Eric Shulman (TiddlyTools) wrote this in a thread: http://groups.google.dk/group/tiddlywiki/browse_thread/thread/639bdc9456722aa2/e23c57e67990d9dc?hl=dalnk=gstq=all+tiddlers+with+a+slice#e23c57e67990d9dc ... Then, you can use that tag value to 'filter' the list of tiddlers to be retrieved, so that only those with the desired slices and/or sections are processed. For example, here's an inline script that gathers up information about 'bookmark' tiddlers, and outputs a summary, formatted as an HR- separated list script var out=[]; var tids=store.getTaggedTiddlers(bookmark); for (var i=0; itids.length; i++) { var t=tids[i].title; var d=store.getTiddlerText(t+::Description); var u=store.getTiddlerText(t+::URL) out.push(%0 - %1\n%2.format([t,d,u])); } return out.join(\n\n); /script regards Måns Mårtensson On 4 Jan., 00:33, Dave Parker cedar...@telus.net wrote: Hello, I have this fET that works: forEachTiddler where ' tiddler.tags.contains(todo) ! tiddler.tags.contains(systemConfig) ! tiddler.tags.contains(hide) ' write '| +tiddler.title+ |tiddler +tiddler.title+::todo\\ |\n' but I'd like to not have to tag the tiddler with todo to get the tiddler to show up in the fET. I tried !store.getTiddlerSlice(tiddler.title, todo) == to try to exclude blank or non existent slices, but got an error, so I guess my question is How do you exclude blank slices without referring to tags? Hi Dave, Couldn't you just substitute text for tags to find tiddlers with todo slices? [tw] EtherPad and TiddlyWiki synergetic cohabitation possible?
Hi TwWizards EtherPad (etherpad.com) has been bought by Google to be used with Google Wave - but their plan is to release the source code as Open source ... http://etherpad.com/ep/blog/posts/etherpad-back-online-until-open-sourced I love the simplicity of etherpad and the historytracking capabilities - and the simple colouring of text from different user contributions... I'm using EtherPad via iframes in my TWs when I need realtimecollaboration on textmaterial... (there's even a chatmodule and a timeslider implemented) I wonder if someone is able to make a TiddlyWikiplugin to handle/ integrate an etherpaddocument directly in a tiddler? Priorities: 1) Import and Wikification of text from an etherpadinstance - only defined by an Url... (maybe a rerepresentation of the text from the read-only page or a copy2note function) 2) Write text in a tiddler/textbox and push it to the etherpadinstance with username as contributor. 3) You can quickly create new etherpaddocuments by inputting Url: http://etherpad.com/ep/pad/newpad This could be integrated in a newTiddler macro to trigger the two before mentioned priorities - .. If you could revert the action and push any tiddlertextcontent to an EtherPad document online you would get the advantage of beeing able to download the result as html, doc or pdf - instantly.. Any suggestions? YS Måns Mårtensson -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. To post to this group, send email to tiddlyw...@googlegroups.com. [tw] Re: A list of tiddlers based on custom fields
Hi Jakob, If you were willing to switch to tags instead of custom fields I think there might be more sitemap options (that also might be more likely to produce right-side-up rather than upside-down results, though I was interested to see the upside-down version!). For one example, you could see how my (not at all elegant) scripts would work with your tiddlers: http://cmariexamples.tiddlyspot.com/ cmari On Jan 3, 6:25 am, PMario pmari...@gmail.com wrote: Hi Måns, On Jan 2, 11:48 pm, Måns humam...@gmail.com wrote: Does list filter [field[Alpha Centauri]] work?
