Edit conflicts [1] *should* occur only when you modify a tiddler that is different on the server. Is it possible you edited the same space in two different tabs/windows. [tw] Re: Is it easy to upload a TW made offline to TiddlySpace?
Thanks Eric, but this doesn't work. I tested this with disabled PasteUpPlugin and now I've updated it. Also, I can't edit any tiddler that is not created, like the Root tiddler which appears first at the page. There's a workaround, though -- I can create a tiddler with such a name and edit it (while with existing shadowed tiddlers I have to open them in another space, copy initial content and than edit). Yes, I can edit them in another my space. Also, if you add the following to your EditTemplate: span class='editor' macro='edit server.host'/span span class='editor' macro='edit server.type'/span span class='editor' macro='edit server.workspace'/span You can view/modify the values for the TiddlySpace custom fields assigned to each tiddler. This enables you to hand-edit any missing values to fix those tiddlers so that they will get saved online. Ok, I'll keep this in mind. But once more. the problem is not that I can't *save* some tiddlers, I can't *open* them for editing. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. [tw] Re: Is it easy to upload a TW made offline to TiddlySpace?
The only thing, that I see is, that your non existant tiddlers have no custom fields. And that causes, the problem. But I have no concrete idea, why. Somewhere your TW overwrites some TiddlySpace core functions. Sry, @devs have to jump in here. TiddlySpace tiddlers use custom fields to set the server information. Otherwise they don't get saved online. TiddlySpace automatically sets the config.defaultCustomFields object to contain the required custom field name/value pairs. Unfortunately, some plugins -- those not specifically written for TiddlySpace -- don't always pass the default fields into the TWCore store.saveTiddler(...) function. As a result, although a tiddler is created *locally*, and can be saved *locally*, it lacks the needed server info and thus, does not get saved online. A quick look at the installed plugins in your document reveals that you are using an older version of TiddlyTools PasteUpPlugin (v1.0.1). That version doesn't use the defaultCustomFields, so any tiddlers created by paste up actions won't be saved online. Fortunately, this has *already been fixed*: 2011.02.08 1.0.9 when saving new tiddlers, use config.defaultCustomFields for TiddlySpace compatibility Please install the most up-to-date version (v1.1.0) http://www.tiddlytools.com/#PasteUpPlugin Also, if you add the following to your EditTemplate: span class='editor' macro='edit server.host'/span span class='editor' macro='edit server.type'/span span class='editor' macro='edit server.workspace'/span You can view/modify the values for the TiddlySpace custom fields assigned to each tiddler. Unfortunately, disabling PersistentAuthorNameParameter doesn't help. I don't know exactly. But may be it has something to do with your PersistentAuthorNameParameter which changes the user name. Hi, At you link, I can't see anything. All your tiddlers seem to be private. You need to make them public, that we can see them. Only those, which you want us to see, off course :) Enter the backstage area and got to the batch tab. There should be 2 tabs: private public at the private tab select every tiddler we should see and make public.
