We have reserved a block of rooms for those of you who want to travel in and spend the night to see our wonderful doctors and hear them speak. The rooms are available on Friday and Saturday nights for $165.00 a night plus taxes. The registration fee for the Saturday conference is only $50.00, which will cover the cost of the continental breakfast, the lunch and the meeting room. We had to do a lot of negotiating to get this super price. The details will be up on the website at www.myelitis.org by Wednesday, but if you can't wait, please email me and I can give you the details sooner. Please, if you live near Southern California, seriously consider coming and meeting our doctors who have been working so hard for all of us to make our lives so much easier for all of us. I thought I would share with you Cole's good news. Cole is a huge fan of Ozzy Osbourne, I don't know where that comes from because I like country myself. I wrote Sharon Osbourne a letter telling her how much Cole love's his music, and sent some pictures of him derssed as Ozzy for halloween. Ozzy is doing a concert in Toronto on Jan 21. Cole has been given backstage passes to meet the band, Ozzy and go to the concert. He is so excited, I don't think he will sleep till after that night. When we told him he almost cried.This will give him a memory that will last forever. I an taking some ear plugs for myself! I'll send pic's. Wendy

Gunny, and all that, all that is needed from you right now is the contact information your doctors have so we can put it in the data-base such as ,---Their Name-such as (Dr.Angelo Pottster)--- The firm that they work for-such as (The Univresity of Memphis Family Medical Center)--- The address of their Office-such as (1999 Hwy 51 North)--- The City, State,and don't forget the zip code-such as (Coving, Tennessee, 38019)And of cource their e-mail address--such as ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) All of these numbers are fictitious, as to protect my Doctor's right to privacy. The correct information was given to Sandy so make sure that Ihave enter the correct information into the data-base. I only did this to insure my Doctors rights to privacy. You should do the same if you post your DRs. information to the entire list. I did it because we need to keep pounding this needed information into the members heads so we can make this data-base a reality. The problem I see with GP's is, they usually designate such researching to thier subordinates, like nurses and whatnot. Usually again, they only search the Internet. Again, they wii be referred to an Internist or a Neuologist who once again has no idea what's going on. The only thing he/she will find out is what's on the Internet, and that for the most part is inconclusive. They will follow what's laid out for them, follw protocol, with Steroids and whatnot, then tell you, you wont recover. Its a crying shame that I,m not going to financially be able to get to the symposium in Seattle this year there will be for me.
