You'll need to go to www.irs.gov and search for 1040

After hospitalization and once off blood thinners, no one ordered
blood tests for me for years.

I ordered for myself.
Checked D and calcium and asked for full screen.
Last fall got a physiatrist who ordered bone density and pulmonary
function tests.

YEs- what i don't know has hurt me. I have had to be my own physician
so you are right to ask.

I felt SO AFFIRMED to learn that American hospitals mess up 30% of the time.
When I told friends how I was given the wrong meds for six weeks --
that someone messed up everyday andI caught it because I kept a log
and notes and would check before I let them inject me
or give me anything. and how i complained about the the filth y
clipboard that went from room to room and was put on my bed they
didn't belive me.

I used to keep a three ring binder on TM -(now it's just file
folders) -- did you ever get the SCI book from the Reeves Foundation
-- incredibly helpful.

In addition to the TM association info, I get Action (shared the gait

I hope Spring time is helping everyone.
I would like 2 know what tests - blood work etc your dr's order for
you during the year. I am on baclofen ,topamax. Still with pain
especially at night. as well as back pain and shrinking in right
leg. Am wheelchair bound for most part with exception of toddler
table walking (last few months) tm in july 07. I read most know
where t this or t that. I didn't know that until I started this
group as I was never told the area of where my tm hit. I do know I
have to take responsibility for me. What do I need to ask for. In my
area and now medical coverage

I am limited. I have learned a lot from you guys.
Never realized that tm causes clinical depression.
Anyone know or have experience with hpt5. Or natural supplements for
depression. I was on effexor then prozac now nothing. Feeling DOWN
and don't want to spiral down again just as spring is here. May have
rambled a bit - thanks 4 being out there!!

Well, it is my understanding that even if you don't owe a single penny, you
must file.
There are, as I understand, funds for those who file but don't owe. some
kind of rebates, or whatever they're called (bookkeepers, step in).

And. if you don't file at all, dem dang revenooers will be a'comin' after
ya. For sure.

John H I ll be curious to find out your outcome. I know -for me - my
first year I went to my cpa's office, waiting my turn for my appointment and
after wheeling myself into his fancy office - when called, felt silly when he
said jackie you don't have to be here you didn't earn enough this year ! I kept
asking R U SURE ??? I receive SS disability medicare and disability check from
work ( thank God I had long term disability ins from work which will pay until
age 62) point being He said (and my tax papers I get yearly say) they are
medical non taxable. I hope yours will be as mine.
Oh another thing. that no one told me when I started getting SS ck - (I
found out on my own AFTER 3 years)
Your taxes on your home (if you own ) will be considerably lower since you
are disabled- BUT you have to go to courthouse and get it changed. I was barely
paying for mine -went down more then half!
  Thanks for all your help

What about those of us who never experienced back problems of any kind before
TM.  I was dx out of the blue, sudden onset, no reason, no previous sensations
or symptoms?

Come to think of it;

I was diagnosed with spondilolesthesis at aged 15 and had back problems from
then on.  It even kept me out of the Army in 1967.  Then the 30' fall from a
power poll in 1970 at aged 22, which smashed everything.

Anyway, what we are NOT considering is how many others had all these problems
and never went on to develop MS, TM, or any similar condition.  Because I know
of very few persons who do not have some sort of back
condition—injury-situation-whatever.

I forgot about it till:  after trying to move a crate weighing over 220 lbs, I
