Ok... guys we are 7 months in was paralyzed from head.after 7 months she has control over bladder and bowels,arms and handsome trunk musclesIn the last month can slightly waive both feet and toes GREAT NEWS.. now the QUESTIONS.. she is off all meds except just startedcimbaltathe spasms are BAD what do you guys take for these things ...today they had her straight legged and arched backand still government does not help...Texas.. day care for both babies..nothingwants to go back to college...might get small grant but you will need to pay for your own books??? more rehab for you to get better NO... I just do not understand our system,...honesty is not getting us anywhere.You guys are my life line and now I have Jeri actually reading tooso THANK YOU SOO MUCH again...Kelli

Thanks for the sweet answers to Jeri`s questions. But very sad to see the UGLY letters about GOD He is all that keeps Jeri and her family going was before tm.and is still here stronger than ever for us now. Sorry to be so personal you all but things need asking and appreciate the answers..Kelli

She will try to move her leg or foot with all her might ..and everytime it will cause her to spaz.. now then if she is trying to move it a certain direction then she spaz.. and it moves there in a spazium Like a delayed reaction Now another question.. how do you gals self cath...any magic ideals ..her hands are not strong enough. Her movement, Moblility is back a 100 percent but the strengh of a 75 year old person...will her strengh in her hands improve with thereapy.. Can feel the need to poop but cant tell if it is a poop or gas I told that is everybody...lol.Bladder seems to be holding a lot to me sometimes 500 to 800 now cathing every 3 hours to a 275 to 400 what is the norm..how often do most of yall go that is still having to do it ...Thanks for all the support I read every night before I go to bed ,no matter what time it is or how tired I am..THANKS SOO MUCHKelli ---End Message---

---BeginMessage--- ok, where do I start...Just learning how to get my letters out there...Must say kind of scary reading about tm. but better informed than to be in the dark5 weeks in as of tom.line of injury is about 2 inches above breast area...Just got on more steroids for two more weeks new neuro. says it is too late but what can it hurt and gave her a choice.. For sure is not g.b. wish , recovery is a breezein comparison..We have been in a rehab for 3 weeks today...It is a GOD send... Says she can stay as long as she shows some improvement...The team behind her are complete ANGELS sent strait from heaven... They love her and cheer her on like a family... She moved her leg last week ...hard to explain I think the movement is coming from her quad muscles?? upper thigh area and very weak movements but they are movementsGot to potty on her own on a potty chair.. Still has cath in OH we live in Texas Have applied for medicare..still waiting ..paper work bs. This child is a inspiration to be around...Look you in the eye and tell you straight up GOD is going to HEAL her it is just going to take some time... The strength she has is remarkableI can touch her anywhere,anywhere. she can tell me exactly where I am touchingPillow on her head so I know she is not just wishing to feel the touch..We are lost as I know all of you understand this feeling... ---BeginMessage--- Hi my name is Kelli Mom in law to an angel of 22 yrs old that was diagnosed on Jan 21 3month old son and a 21month old girl..I think her lesion is 6-7 to T2mlarge span 7 over lapping lesions... Total paralysis in about an hour of onset...so far all that has come back is her hands and some feeling but NO movements in her legs...says she can feel when I touch her just about any where I touchThey would only give her 4 days of the steroids nothing more no ins. but has got into rehab for now but can only stay if she shows improvement...ANY ADVICE OR ANSWERS IS EXTREMELY APPRICIATED...THANKYOU..Kelli ---End Message---
