[SlimDevices: Touch] Touch not scrobbling
My touch refuses to scrobble. In an attempt to 'restart' the scrobbling connection, I deleted my account from the app and uninstalled the app, but for some reason, in the menu -settings > advanced > last.fm audioscrobbler-, it still knows my last.fm account name! I can't find any way to remove this from the touch, either using the touch itself or mysqueezebox.com... am I missing something? Same problem on my SB Radio once in a while. The audio just suddenly lost. I don't think weak WIFI signal causing it because I can't even hear the "beep" when pressing buttons. Everything else seems to work (browse menu, change channel/music via menu or presets...) Just no sounds. I have the exact same problem. The most frustrating part is that Spotify is working fine on my Squeezebox Radio where I've had no problems at all. The Squeezebox Touch, however, has had a LOT of problems getting music to start playing. Basically 80% of attempts to start a song fail. Has anyone contacted Logitech about this and got a reply yet? [SlimDevices: Touch] Power outage behavior
I have two Touches and have the screens turned off when they are not in use. However, if I have a power outage, when the power comes back they end up in the UI and eventually to the clock screensaver. Is there any way to make the Touch stay "off" when the power comes back after an outage? And I have heard of other experiences with HDTracks that were solved with reencoding the FLAC files. If 24/96, I've read that compression no higher than "5" is best. I upgraded everything (newest Beta on server, newest Software on Touch), on the server it did a clean install... the Server forgot all my settings and most annoyingly, my favorites. However, the issue of tracks getting cut remained unchanged. I started to repeatedly listen to the same tracks and figured out, that a couple of my tracks get cut, but always at the same moment. In on track, for instance on track: 1. Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No.1 / Lang Lang , Chicago Symphony Orchestra / Daniel Barenboim, original FLAC as downloaded from HDTracks: After 17 minutes 31 seconds. The same track played over Network (stored on the server in the basement), played on my Notebook upstairs, on Winamp did NOT get cut. However, I re-encoded the FLAC, using LameXP (FLAC input and decoding, FLAC encoding at lowest compression setting, gives almost the same file size). Result: No interruption anymore! So I don't actually know, WHO is to blame: The Flac does play without problem on a computer, and it gets interrupted on the Squeezebox. So it's the squeezebox. But the same track encoded at home does play fine. So is it HDTracks that are to blame for their encoding? Doesn't actually matter to me, as ther IS a solution... A bit annoying however, if I have to re-encode all those purchased FLAC files. Anyone else sharing this issue, who has tried re-encoding the FLACS?
