Sounds like you have more than one problem on your hands. Lets focus on the "The next day I cant access the web control. I get the message on the web control as "Link broken" or failed port" I guess that you are on 7.5.x at the moment?! lets stay on that while investigating this. Could you describe your setup in details?! what equipment do you have? Is it wireless or cabled? Details about your server setup? For me it sounds like a network issue. Have you given you equipment dedicated IP addresses? You can do that in two ways, pr unit or as in my case where I in my router interface can give specific IP addresses to specific MAC addresses. Also if wireless connected check the channel saturation using eg ínssider http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/ It is ok if there are other wireless networks on the same channel as long as their signal is weak otherwise consider changing it. You can use the Controller with the Touch's wifi disabled. I have a Duet now and want to operate it with the Duet controller. Is this possible if I shut off Wifi on the Touch? Anyone tried? I have been having the same problems with Touch upgrading when connecting to MySB (the NAS is down at the moment). This is just a repeat of a very helpful post elsewhere on the Forum (but have lost where it was). Go to :- http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/ - you will find all of the versions including 7.5.4 (which works). Get the file that starts with "fab4" and ends in "bin", put it on a USB stick, plug the stick into the Touch. I didn't have to power up and down or use the reset button. Go to Advanced etc to update the software, the version on the stick will be on the list of those available. Update. It worked fine for me. Problem solved. Mostly. I managed to browbeat NAD into allowing me to update the firmware myself, and everything's working okay now. I still get the openings of albums clipped off as when the player is re-awoken it seems to not be putting out a signal. 44.1k is maintained for a few seconds between tracks, so the receiver maintains lock. I know there's a setting in the web controls that delays initial playback for a second or two to allow lock on to happen before playback. Can this somehow be selected for USB playback? I alsp had this problem and posted on the mysqueezebox.com under 'problems with apps'. I was much obliged to garym who suggested going in to preferences (this was on a Mac) stopping squeezebox server and restarting.
