Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Squeezebox Server and Touch dont recognise each other
Fixed up Windows 7 boot issue (gotta recommend SevenForums) and after the reboot - all working perfectly again. Did I mention I hate computers? Many thanks for the help and suggestions. -- danter danter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49719 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90323 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Squeezebox Server and Touch dont recognise each other
I filled in mysqueezebox.com account info and one of the Touches appeared. It asked if I wanted to change it from mysqueezebox to this server. Answered yes and nothing happened. So changed it back, it redirected to mysqueezebox. Hit the back button on the browser and - the Touch was no longer showing. (prior to going to mysqueezebox I tried accessing SBS via the Touch. No go). The SBS is connected via Port 3483. This is ok in SBS diagnostics, confirmed in the Touch Diagnostics, but shows as not connected in the Touch Diagnostics. Server IP address (from SBS) 192.168.1.53 Wireless IP address (from Touch) 192.168.1.6 I suspect a reboot may well get it all going again, but need to sort out my Win7 issue first (damn I hate computers!). -- danter danter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49719 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90323 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Squeezebox Server and Touch dont recognise each other
Yes trying to connect to SBS on the PC (as I have done for years - and the past 4 months with the Touchs. In Diagnostics, all Pings, Ports and IP Server addresses are OK for both SBS and mysqueezebox. Cant imagine it is the anti-virus nor firewall as they both have been operating successfully together for ages (the firewall has SBS as an exception). The Touch does not offer SBS as an option - simply states that I should download it and install it on my PC. But, both Touchs recognise each other - each lsits the other as well under 'Choose Player'. I can also play internet radio from the Touch screens (obviously not the SBS web remote. Can't restart the PC at the moment as I have a big boot file issue. If I turn it off, I wont be able to turn it back on until I sort the Win7 issue. -- danter danter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49719 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90323 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

[SlimDevices: Touch] Squeezebox Server and Touch dont recognise each other
After having Duets for a few years, I finally upgraded to the Touchs (I have 2). Much easier set-up and less infuriating when something goes wrong. If the connection was lost, it would they would always readily connect. Except now. Now, the Touchs want to upgrade everytime they are turned on. Not a big deal as this is reasonably quick. But now, neither will recognise that Squeezebox Server is running (tells you to install it and ensure it is running), and neither will SB Server identify the two players (one is via wifi and the other, ethernet). I finally gave in and upgraded to the latest Server software (7.6.1 r33110) and still they choose to ignore each other. I have restored factory settings on the players numerous times to no avail. Any suggestions? -- danter danter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49719 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90323 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
