I have installed it and for now it works, only thing I am missing right now is the spotify icon in the main menu from the ipeng app. Any idea how to solve this . I have installed spotify, at the question to add a short cut I anser yer but the shortcut does not appear. How to open spotify using ipeng in this situation ? Yes if make triodes plugin show under radio you have acess to both off them . It's a bit weird that we have to use both never though about it ? The official to get acess to more than one stream , different for each player . But I did not now that the triode plugin was necessary to make sync work ? When did that happen . As for now I have both as mherger has greatly improved the official one . The 3rd Party plugin has an option to NOT show it under "MyApps". It then shows up under "Radios" and in iPeng you can still move it wherever you want it to be. I have disabeld the option and now is not in My apps, Also added spotify again to the main menu, only when it opens it comes into the third party envoirment in stead of the original spotify which is much better. For the difference see the attachments. It is possible to open the original app, only after new installation and direct opening. The spotify icon I have now refers to the third party plug in. There is a corresponding server side plugin , to the official mysqueezebox.com app ? Sure there is. All music services come with a companion plugin. That's not true. I regularly sync using the 3rd party plugin, too. Playing two different streams at the same time only works on Touch and Radio and only if you don't enforce playback through the 3rd party plugin but that does work for the OP Just to add my 5 cents to the confusion: syncing Spotify on two Radios never worked for me - until I installed Triode's plugin... Tried it over mysqueezebox.com. The problem is still there. All other synchronise options work but spotify does not . When I want to install the Triode's plug in, what to do with the original spotify plug in, turn it off ? no, they can live side by side. I'm only using his plugin for his protocol handler, which allows the syncing.
