Steffen, Here best explains the problem of AnnouncerPlugin: Hello, I'm using the AnnouncerPlugin on a couple of Trac installations to send HTML emails, and it's not properly formatting ticket updates that have Wiki formatting in them. For example, if I put in the Wiki text: Test of `formatting` in '''announcer''' * Including * Bulleted * Lists It will display in the ticket something like this: Test of formatting in *announcer* - Including - Bulleted - Lists But in my email like this: Test of `formatting` in '''announcer''' * Including * Bulleted * Lists Has anybody else seen this? Still my previous note applies, that fixing existing functional deficiencies (private/single user announcements) has priority before fixing formatting issues. It looks like the wiki formatting is just disregarded and taken as plain-text instead of being put through a wiki rendering process before inclusion into the email body. So this shouldn't be especially hard to fix. You may be aware of general prejudice against HTML formatted email. And the solid alternative is still plain text, that is preferred by many professionals anyway.
