Re: [translate-pootle] how to upload xliff file to po based project?
I reckon this is the same issue that was answered a couple of weeks ago on this mailing list. For the file to appear in Pootle, you need to first copy it to the project folder manually, then restart the server (that worked for me, anyways). Only after this has been done can you attempt to upload the XLIFF-file. - Pål Dwayne Bailey wrote: I tried to upload a .xlf with upload file function, however it doesn't seem to work. Re: [translate-pootle] What happened to Pootling?

I've noticed it's no longer available for download and its site is down. I really hope Vladimer Sichinava hasn't given up on his alternative to PoEdit, which, IMHO, far exceeds the latter in features and ease of use. I'd seriously give Virtaal a try, its early days yet and its showing great promise. -- Dwayne Bailey Associate +27 12 460 1095 (w) Translate.org.za +27 83 443 7114 (c) Recent blog posts: * Almost there - Virtaal and OpenDocument http://www.translate.org.za/blogs/dwayne/en/content/almost-there-virtaal-and-opendocument * Spelling Rulz * The birth of the GNU generation - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ Translate-pootle mailing list Translate-pootle@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/translate-pootle
[translate-pootle] Dutch translation of Pootle 1.2
Hi Friedel and all. Yesterday I uploaded a new Dutch version of pootle.po to Pootle 1.2 I used Pootling to make quite a few small and not-so-small changes to my old version, and to add translator's comments here and there. I noticed that on the pootle server my changes show up as suggestions and my translator's comments don't show up at all. Also, there is no 'accept suggestion' button, which means I would have to re-enter and save everything manually in order for the changes to come through. I presume all of this is due to my not having administrator's rights? If so, I would like to claim those rights for the Dutch version of the project Pootle 1.2, so my changes won't be lost in future. There don't seem to be many other active contributors anyway. Also, I've noticed that no matter what you set your language to, the link Docs help always refers to the english version (http://pootle.locamotion.org/doc/en/index.html). Don't you think it would be more convenient to have it shown in the user's language automatically, unless it doesn't exist? By the way, the list of languages in which the documentation is available hasn't been updated yet: 'cs' and 'nl' are missing. Thanks!
