To fix this permanantly for all accounts create a VOC phrase in the UV
account:

UV.LOGIN
001 PH
002 PTERM CASE NOINVERT

Add PTERM CASE NOINVERT to your

You may want to put a PTERM CASE NOINVERT in your login proc/paragraph
or in uv VOC UV.LOGIN

Hello,

I am running a Universe PE 10 version and I am running into something
that is driving me nuts. I find that Universe is changing the case of
what I am typing. I keep having to hit the caps lock key to switch
case. If I type something at tcl that is upper case, then when I enter
into my program, I will be in lower case. I find myself constantly
having to use the caps lock.

Does anyone know if there is a switch or something that is causing this?
I am running in a Pick flavored account.

Thanks

RE: [U2] Universe Case

2004-06-02 Thread Gordon Glorfield
Eugene,

What you need to do is in your login paragraph add the line

PTERM CASE NOINVERT

That should solved it for you. By default UV has the case invert on.

RE: [U2] Universe Case

2004-06-02 Thread Logan, David (SST - Adelaide)
Hi Eugene,

You could try running PTERM CASE NOINVERT at the TCL prompt and see if
this improves things. I have this in my LOGIN VOC entries because I
don't like the way the case inverts when you move from unix to universe.
This will stop that. Otherwise try the help screen for PTERM and see if
there is another option that can stop this for you
