Considering that kdelibs4c2a isn't supported on anything except lucid (10.04) we're not going to change kdelibs5-plugins. What I can do is change the breaks/replaces there so that someone can provide a compatible kdelibs4c2a without the conflicting files in a PPA. It's now breaking kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-6~ so feel free to provide a version -6~ somewhere that doesn't conflict with the current kde4libs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kde4libs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1100622 Title: package kdelibs5-plugins (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/ktelnetservice', which is also in package kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-3ubuntu2.10.04.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/+bug/1100622/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

Hi, thank you for taking your time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. Can you please check how many kded4 processes you have running when that happens? The kde session check in /etc/acpi/powerbtn.sh isn't particulary robust and might cause that. [Bug 546032] Re: [PATCH] tcsh-6.17.06-2 $COLUMNS $LINES not set
Sorry that there has not been a response for quite a while, but please understand that in Ubuntu there are no specific Package maintainers, tcsh is collectively maintained by the MOTU Team and I haven't touched it in a long time. The regression happened because the variables are unset to fix http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23623330 and http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23605279 in tcsh 6.17.06-1. As those are valid reasons for this change I don't believe much can be done here from a quick look. If you feel that they're still needed please contact the debian maintainer Thomas Lange la...@debian.org, work out a solution that can be uploaded to the development release and then follow the SRU [1] procedure to get it fixed in precise. [Bug 1072105] Re: Import .ora broken
Hi, thank you for taking your time to report this bug and helping to make Kubuntu better. Are there any more details in the error message? Or can you share a file that it doesn't want to import please? Here, importing an .ora file that I exported as .ora from png works fine, so I fear we'll need a bit more information to look into this. [Bug 1069779] Re: Quantal Image too big for CD
You were right the general 'get kubuntu' page still showed 700MB before the release selection, thanks for pointing that out. It's now removed, and the actual download page does show the correct image size. Looking at Ubuntu I can't find any mention of the image size until you start downloading it (seems to be currenty ~750M) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069779 Title: Quantal Image too big for CD To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kubuntu-meta/+bug/1069779/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
