AFAIK Keytrade itself runs on (Gentoo) linux instead of expensive

As long as you stick with "Fortis PC Banking" all is well, yes.

At some point as a business customer, you get into limitations with the
consumer foferings, and they force you to use the Isabel platform, which still
doesn't work thankx to the ActiveX way of working in v6.

We should take on Isabel more to satisfy business users.

Hi,

I can tell you it works with Fortis too. Well with the Digipass anyway.
Which they still support but I don't know if new accounts get a
digipass, C-ZAM reader or a card reader. But the card reader should be
no problem either and that's considered the safest I thought.

I don't want to do lot's of advertising but you should consider an
online bank...

I'm a client of the Keytrade Bank, lot's of services are free (even
above 25years, including bancontact card)
Every operation are done in the browser, no external application are
needed, you got a RSA key and you can even authenticate yourself with
your belgian electronic identity card since 2006, it works well under
linux too.

If you can, close your bank account, go to Axa (they were not compatible
with Linux, but they knew it and they've just implemented a new version,

So, the best way (if possible) : close your account, and explain them you

Open an account at Axa, and explain them you are opening it thanks to their

To me the best is to mail their commercial support (not the technical
one) complaining about mandatory updates incompatible with your
system, tell them you were a (business) client priori to their choice
to support Windows only customer and ask them what is compensation for
them kicking you out of their service. All done in a friendly email.
