Prezados amigos, Creio que houve alguma incompatibilidade de minha máquina ou da própria conexão durante o processo de configuração do Disk Manager da Starlinux, motivo pelo qual não obtive êxito. Solicitei a um técnico (para o qual instalei o Ubuntu) para executar a instalação seguindo as instruções do "pequeno readme" fornecido com o programa, iniciando a configuração com o auto-apt, conforme instruções do Zandré. Não houve qualquer problema na configuração ou na instalação efetuada na máquina deste porém, como questionado pelo Alexandre anteriormente, ele não possui qualquer recurso que não esteja disponível no Gparted, Resumo: Descartei a instalação, indicação e uso deste. Estou lendo os tutoriais do TestDisk da CGSecurity para uma análise. Aparentemente este programa possui recursos como recuperação de bad blocks, imagens e tabelas de partição... vamos ver. Caso parta para a instalação e teste, retornarei mantendo este mesmo tópico. Prezados Zandre e Alexandre, Zandre, instalei e utilizei o auto-apt para rodar o configure do diskman, mas o erro persistiu no "X". Vou realizar outra tentativa, pois creio que o problema pode ter sido ocasionado pela minha conexão que estava péssima ontem. De qualquer forma a dica foi muito legal, o auto-apt é excelente na performance de catar as dependencias e instala-las. Me amarrei. Alexandre, o fato de insistir na instalação deste programa não tem nada a ver com o Gparted, ele é excelente. Minha intenção é de verificar se ele dispõe de outros recursos técnicos para update de MBRs ou zero fills, por exemplo. Não encontrei tutoriais ou maiores detalhes sobre este programa e, sabe como é, a curiosidade me levou a testa-lo. Hoje estou insistindo na instalação por teimosia e curiosidade, mesmo que o programa não tenha nada de mais. Para mim lidar com scripts é um sempre um aprendizado a mais e creio que isto me será muito útil no linux. Posto depois com os resultados, valeu gente. Grato, Zandre, Vou dar uma lida na sua dica sobre o auto-atp porque, independente do fato de acatar a opinião do Alexandre sobre utilizar o Gparted ou QTparted, quero me aprimorar nas instalações de programas pelo Ubuntu. (Adoro esses desafios). No help disponível na instalação não tem nada a respeito, só a informação do procedimento normal, sem relatar possíveis erros. No site da Darkstar linux, desenvolvedora deste (hoje o disk manager deles é fornecido em um pacote) também não localizei nenhum help ou faq sobre o programa... estranho este fato. Mas tudo bem, vou verificar todas as opções (distração para o final de semana). Alexandre, sua questão foi determinante. Procurava um meio gráfico de particionamento multi-sistemas para apresentar a usuários do Ubuntu ainda "acostumados" aos programas via windows, no intuito de uma adaptação gradual. Até então ví os "parteds" do linux funcionando apenas na instalação do Ubuntu e do Kurumin, não fazia a menor idéia de que poderia utilizar seus recursos no sistema "rodando" propriamente dito. Estarei verificando as duas indicações, uma em cada máquina. Creio que ambas, pelos screenshots que ví, são excelentes e serão de fácil utilização. Desculpe-me o trabalho pela tentativa da instalação do diskman, já a descartei. Valeu a dica, abraços. Antonio, Com o build-essential instalado, parti para o ./configure - resultado da última linha: checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X libraries. Please check your installation and add the correct paths! Tentei com o comando ./configure --with-x-toolkit Nada feito. Dei uma lida em alguns tutoriais sobre x libraries, mas não cheguei a nenhuma conclusão de como disponbilizar, O phyton está instalado no Ubuntu, como posso instalar/adicionar as bibliotecas? A tempo: Tentei realizar a instalação do diskman-0.9.7 pelo apt-get install mas não funfou. ;se eu tentar informando no comando o endereço completo do site rolaria? Já procedi a instalação e, para quem ainda não o utilizou, segue uma correção: para funfar o comando não leva o "s" final, digitar: $ sudo apt-get install build-essential Foram instalados os multilibs g++ gcc com êxito.
