[Bug 182616] Re: Checkfs fails on USB partition because initialization isn't finished yet; prompts on every boot
The script which mounts all the partitions listed in fstab is /etc/init.d/mountall.sh, which is part of the package initscripts. The reason why putting sleep 5 in checkfs.sh works is because checkfs is executed before mountall (according to /etc/rcS.d). If you have some questions, just ask. :-) -- Checkfs fails on USB partition because initialization isn't finished yet; prompts on every boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/182616 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 236275] [NEW] System very slow after suspend-to-ram
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pm-utils Hi, after I suspend my laptop by closing the lid and reopening the lid, the system is very very slow. [Bug 235615] Re: Startupmanager fails to install new usplash theme
Ok running it with sudo fixed it. There was a panel came up regarding grub having been locally modified. So I chose the package maintainers version. This has now sorted out the problem. It was not writing the new grub. There must have been difference between /boot/grub/menu.lst and the one held in /var/run. I'm sorry that you are experiencing the issue that you are describing. I can assure you that the package cryptsetup is pretty similar to the one in debian. You can see http://patches.ubuntu.com/c/cryptsetup/ the diff to debian. I don't think that there is actually something in that diff that would cause the behavior you are seeing. [Bug 224142] Re: gnome_url_show says some evolution email links invalid
Yes, I agree that it would be difficult to determine if all you are given is just a string. However, there must be some indicator in the email source that indicates that these are links (or that the author of the email specified them as links) since they are *displayed* as a link. It seems that clicking on the link sends the url through the gnome_url_show function where the verification is done. Perhaps there could be a way of telling gnome_url_show that it should not do a link verification check, just trust the application. ** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = New -- gnome_url_show says some evolution email links invalid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224142 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
