Re-opening because it is back. At login, compiz repeatedly crashes so you can't do anything except restart the gdm session from a tty console. Attached is an .xsession-errors log showing it crashing. Still on 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2, libreoffice now starts up; the first start of the first program (in my case lowriter) took quite a while, but anything else after that just works fine. localc gave me the hint that Because the current formula separator settings conflict with the locale, the formula separators have been reset to their default values.. Then i log in to the Maverick, start Ubuntu Software Center, click on Reinstall Previous Purchases... and click to install Volley Brawl. I've got that error: Package dependencies cannot be resolved. This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable. Furthermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same time. Details: volleybrawl. The URL just display No OAuth request. on the top. I tried with the two computer, same thing. I had a problem yesterday with my desktop, it didn't started, so I had to format, and Control Panel do not have this problem anymore, but the URL always display No OAuth request. That's strange because the old laptop still have the control panel bug, and it was on a fresh install too. I think it's because I made the install on the desktop with the latest daily-live, and with Beta 1 on the laptop. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity If you look in the screenshots, I have two maximised windows open. The panel only shows the details of one of them (the focused window). It would be great if the Unity panel would show me the Application name, window title, global menu, and the close button/window controls for the second window. This would save everyone a few clicks when working with two monitors. For maximised windows this seems to be a no brainer. For unmaximised unfocused windows on the other monitor then I imagine some more care would need to be taken in the implementation. If it helps, the bug also has not occurred so far under Ubuntu Classic. No idea. I always update everything daily. Issue is, normally I started Skype from menu so do not encounter error messages. With skype 2.2 I tried from terminal and saw the messages. As said, I can use skype, but webcam is buggy. Often fails or suddenly shows BW bad quality. Actually, I just discovered what's going on. When you are on Workspace 1, and you launch MonoDevelop, it automatically places it in Workspace 2 and moves focus to Workspace 2 (very quickly). The reason I couldn't Alt-Tab back to MonoDevelop from Firefox (on Workspace 1), was because MonoDevelop was launched into Workspace 2, despite the fact I launched it from Workspace 1. So instead of Alt-TAB, and needed to press Ctrl-Alt-Right (to move to that workspace). I actually like it launching into Workspace 2 by default, now that I realize that that's what it did. However, it confused me at first. However, I'll attach a munin graph showing that it seems to be asymptoted above 1. You can also see that prior to the upgrade, the load average regularly fell below zero. This new values seems very unlikely. I have a similar munin graph from another Lucid server (albeit running the -generic- 32-bit kernel not the -server- 64-bit) which regularly goes below zero.
