[Bug 898390]
The problem was still reproducible for me on KDE 4.10.2 through 4.10.5 on openSUSE 12.3. However, yesterday I upgraded to KDE 4.11.1 and now the display settings are (eventually) correctly applied on login. However, the process is a bit annoying in that immediately after logging in, the display settings are incorrect (that is, the relative position of my two monitors is wrong). It's only after several seconds (and after several applications already get loaded, and display in the wrong places) that the orientation gets switched to my preferred settings. So it's still buggy, but much less buggy than before. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kde-workspace in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/898390 Title: krandr-tray doesn't restore monitor arrangement on startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kdebase-workspace/+bug/898390/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1226962] Re: Hotkeys not functional in non-latin keyboard layout
Yup, on 13.10. My ctrl+t know doesn't work. Sooo i must have messed up testing it :). So yes there is a problem there. Really im just wondering what use to happen, if this is a regression. As I see 3 cases, and 2 different ways to handle this. 1) You are using a standard qwerty latin keyboard with all the keys in the correct spot. 2) You are using a different layout where they keys (such as 't') may be in different locations. 3) You are using a language where such a key does not exists (such as 't'). The two ways to possibly handle this, as in case 1 there is no need to change how we handle it. If case 2, use the new location of the key if it has moved. If case 3, use the keycode of the key it self when no such key exists. Not entirely sure what the approach should be and would like to discuss this a bit more before heading down an implementation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1226962 Title: Hotkeys not functional in non-latin keyboard layout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1226962/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1227794] [NEW] Changing volume using mousewheel changed
Public bug reported: The volume indicator used to have a function that allowed to change the volume using the mousewheel by simply hovering over the indicator. [Bug 1225818] Re: Ubiquity slideshow for Ubuntu Saucy has Raring Ringtail logo
Oookay, I wish I'd looked at this earlier: the two wallpapers that were picked as abstract illustrations this cycle don't quite work in this space, so we're in a bit of a pickle :) I went ahead and updated trunk with an image based on Saucy_Salamander_Abstract_by_José_Vera_alcivar.jpg, so that's a step in the right direction, but I'm not thrilled with it. I'm okay with the illustration itself (honestly, nice job, José, if you're reading this!), but I had to scale the image down significantly to hide the original jpg compression artifacts. If somebody has access to the source image and can provide something a little nicer looking, that'll be very nice. Also, I feel like saying Ubuntu twice is repetitive here, and the background might be a little too Enterprisey, so alternatives are more than welcome.
