[Bug 252882] alternative solution for bug 252882: crash on multiple db install
Sorry that it took so long to follow up on this bug, but dbconfig-common has been rather unmaintained last couple of years. I am taking over the maintainership of dbconfig-common in Debian and will upload a new version to debian/experimental in the next couple of days/weeks. Although I think the solution by Soren is correct, I rather have a solution that still works when $dbc_authenticated_dbtypes is expended. I am thinking of the attached solution, but I would appreciate it when somebody could verify that it works for the multiple db path. Otherwise, giving me a use case example (does anybody know a package that uses this scenario?) would be extremely helpful. [Bug 1404035] Re: Errors in handling case-sensitive directories allow for remote code execution on pull
Jamie, the problem you have is that the patch you've backported passes repo as the first parameter to context.memfilectx() but in the mercurial version that you have, context.memfilectx() only receives the path and text. Just drop the repo argument in the tests as I've done for Debian Wheezy[0] and they will run. [0] http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/python- apps/packages/mercurial/branches/wheezy/debian/patches/ This is not the best explanation ever, I'll send a patch later today. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1404035 Title: Errors in handling case-sensitive directories allow for remote code execution on pull To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git/+bug/1404035/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This is no Evince Bug. It looks like poppler can't access to this font, but normally this means that the font is nos properly installed, which would be a distribution bug. So in summary, first make sure the font is correctly installed and if so, then file a bug in poppler's bugzilla. [Bug 1382462] Re: Desktop/windows painted incorrectly in dual monitor configuration
An unofficial (and unacceptable) fix that finally worked for me was to switch to Linux Mint 17.1. It is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, so I wonder what they did better, particularly because they seem to be using exactly the same X org and graphics driver versions. X.org 1.15.1 Nvidia: 331.113 Not sure of xorg, but nvidia is definitely from the Ubuntu repos. Things that work correctly now: - booting the system with the second monitor plugged in - no strange temporary artifacts/glitches when changing graphics mode during startup of the x session (however, it also takes *longer* for mint to display the desktop, than for Ubuntu) - booting the system with the laptop lid closed (!) by pressing the docking station power button and using only the big secondary screen (last time I checked this with Ubuntu, I got a permanent system freeze and both screens black) - plugging/unplugging the laptop multiple times from the docking station with external monitor turned on - suspending/hibernating, undocking, resuming (it picks up the new screen config after resume just fine) - suspending/hibernating, docking, resuming -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1382462 Title: Desktop/windows painted incorrectly in dual monitor configuration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1382462/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1400632] Re: Can not Shut Down
Jonners59, happy holidays. Could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (the release names are irrelevant for testing, and please do not test the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. If the test did not allow you to test to the issue (ex. you couldn't boot into the OS) please make a comment in your report about this, and continue to test the next most recent kernel version until you can test to the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested exactly shown as: kernel-fixed-upstream-3.19-rc1 This can be done by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon next to the word Tags located at the bottom of the bug description. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results. [Bug 565967] Re: Repeated form fields are not propagated
manuel, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, regarding steps 1-7 (not 8), I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Vivid Vervet. This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention. [1]: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure Regarding step 8, this is a separate issue, necessitating a separate report. ** Changed in: evince (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/565967 Title: Repeated form fields are not propagated To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/565967/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1405787] [NEW] Emulator doesn't start in 14.10 in VMWare
Public bug reported: I'm running Ubuntu 14.10 in a VMWare Fusion VM on an OSX host. When I try to run the emulator via `ubuntu-emulator run name`, the emulator window is opened with the screen black as it's being set up. After a few minutes, no more progress is being shown in the terminal, and the screen remains black. My installed version of ubuntu-emulator is 0.4+15.04.20141125-0ubuntu1. I'm creating the emulator using the default options. The only flags I pass when running is `--scale=0.7` and `--memory=1024`.
